Is 12 Minute Affiliate a Scam?

The 12 Minute Affiliate system is not a scam. It is based on workable methods for making money online and is created by Devon Brown, a legitimate marketer.

However, it is important to keep in mind that achieving success with this system is not guaranteed, and it requires a significant investment of money.

While some hype is present, the sales page may remind you of scams like Five Minute Profit Sites, Copy My Email System, and Easy Retired Millionaire scams.

It is important to note that promises of making money online without any work or effort are unrealistic.

DFY (Done For You) systems are not the easiest or best way to make money online, even for experienced marketers who understand affiliate marketing and have a budget for advertising.

There is still a possibility of failure since you have limited control over your sites and business.

In conclusion, while the 12 Minute Affiliate system has its merits, it is crucial to approach it with realistic expectations and not rely solely on DFY systems for online success.

What is the 12 Minute Affiliate?

The 12 Minute Affiliate is a DFY (Done For You) affiliate advertising system created by Devon Brown. It allows you to start making money by advertising ClickBank products.

ClickBank is one of the largest digital marketplaces, where you can sign up for free and promote items from various niches at no cost. Devon Brown has achieved great success with this system.

As of writing this review, the 12 Minute Affiliate stands out as one of the top ClickBank products, which speaks volumes about its quality.

12 Minute Affiliate Review - ClickBank Stats

Devon Brown claims that the 12 Minute Affiliate system can help you make money online quickly, even within 24 hours.

These claims have contributed to the popularity of the system on ClickBank and among affiliate marketing professionals.

According to Devon, this system is particularly suitable for beginners, as it doesn’t require any specific skills or previous experience. It only takes 12 minutes to set up, and you can start earning commissions.

Long-term users have reported positive results with this system. However, there are some bold claims on the sales page that I will discuss further in my review.

Can You Make Money In 12 Minutes?

The 12 Minute Affiliate sales page introduces a revolutionary done-for-you system that simplifies the process of making money with affiliate marketing. According to the page, you can start seeing results within minutes.

With the 12 Minute Affiliate system, you don’t need to worry about product creation, hosting a website, copywriting, or acquiring extensive technical and marketing skills.

In other words, since it’s a DFY system, it saves you from the hard work and enables you to start earning commissions quickly.

12 Minute Affiliate Review - Sales Page

With this system, you gain access to a funnel builder and concise instructions on utilizing it to promote products from the ClickBank marketplace.

To simplify the process for beginners entering the field of affiliate marketing, Devon Brown and his team have developed a complete set of DFY (Done-for-You) funnels for effortless and profitable results.

In essence, all you have to do is set up your 12 Minute Affiliate funnels, insert your ClickBank affiliate links, and then you can generate income by investing in paid ads to drive traffic to your offers.

Is 12 Minute Affiliate a Get-Rich-Quick Scheme?

Can you really make money quickly with this system, or is 12 Minute Affiliate just another get-rich-quick scam?

The honest answer is no. Making money within minutes, especially for beginners, is highly unlikely.

This is a common tactic used by MMO (Make Money Online) experts to attract more customers, particularly those lacking experience. Similar strategies can be seen in other ClickBank products like Perpetual Income 365 and Click Wealth System.

In other words, I don’t easily believe these claims. The reality is that successfully promoting ClickBank products takes time, trial, and error. So take these claims with a grain of salt.

However, the program does work. Given enough time, profits can be expected down the road. This means that it is a legitimate opportunity. More details will be covered in the 12 Minute Affiliate review.

Personally, I find it difficult to trust individuals like Devon Brown and their “super-fast” money-making systems online.

Therefore, I decided to delve deeper into his background and share this information with you.

Who is Devon Brown?

Devon Brown briefly introduces himself at the beginning of the 12 Minute Affiliate sales video and reiterates his introduction during the presentation.

However, to gather more information about him, I had to dig deeper. Here’s what I found.

Devon Brown

Devon Brown is a multi-talented individual, working as an author, motivational speaker, entertainer, and internet entrepreneur.

He is also an expert in dating and personal growth. As a super successful entrepreneur, he has achieved sales worth millions of dollars in online products and services.

Currently, he is dedicated to assisting people in getting started online.

Is Devon Brown A Scammer?

Typically, when dealing with scams, one of the first signs is the lack of owner information associated with the product.

Scammers may attempt to create a fake owner persona to establish a connection with you, but this is easily detectable.

Therefore, when I researched the owner of 12 Minute Affiliate, I was relieved to discover that Devon Brown is a legitimate affiliate marketer, and his story is authentic.

You may have come across his videos before, as he is an enthusiastic individual with a great passion for making money online.

I was surprised by Devon in several aspects. Firstly, he doesn’t have a massive YouTube following like most gurus. In fact, his YT channel is hardly worth mentioning in this review.

However, he does have a significant presence on Instagram with 5.5K followers and about 3.5K on Facebook.

It’s strange that despite claiming online success, Devon has such a small following on social media. I expected much more! Yet, these numbers don’t accurately measure someone’s success. After researching Devon, I have concluded that he is genuine.

To summarize, Devon Brown is legit. Now, let’s move on to more important questions in this 12 Minute Affiliate review.

How Does 12 Minute Affiliate Work?

12 Minute Affiliate teaches you how to start with affiliate marketing. The system essentially demonstrates how to guide people towards products they are already searching for. The most popular approach is through websites and sales funnels, which are one or two-page websites.

The 12 Minute Affiliate system provides instant access to numerous ClickBank, JVZoo, and Warrior+Plus products. Devon Brown and his team have already prepared ready-to-use sales funnels for these products.

You can select from three different categories or niches of products:

  • Making money online
  • Weight loss
  • Personal development
12 Minute Affiliate Review - How It Works

According to Devon Brown, making money with 12 Minute Affiliate can be achieved in three simple steps:

  1. Activate your 12 Minute Affiliate System.
  2. Get Done-For-You “Pizza Traffic.”
  3. Make Sales While You Sleep.

Setting up your 12 Minute Affiliate sales funnels and activating the traffic is all it takes to start making sales, even while you sleep. Isn’t that cool?

In the 12 Minute Affiliate review, it was mentioned that you’ll receive pre-built sales funnels, saving you time and money.

Additionally, Devon Brown provides guidance on purchasing traffic from Solo Ad vendors, who have large email lists and sell ad space to marketers like you. It’s important to note that Solo Ads can be expensive and carry some level of risk.

Following the setup, the next step is to capture your visitor’s email addresses, build your list, and engage them with your affiliate offers by leading them through your funnel.

Furthermore, you’ll receive a set of pre-written email swipes to facilitate your affiliate offer promotions through email marketing.

How To Get Started With 12 Minute Affiliate?

12 Minute Affiliate is a straightforward setup that can be done in five steps. If you prefer, Devon Brown can handle everything for you.

  1. Create your account: Signing up for 12 Minute Affiliate grants you access to the dashboard where you can find DFY funnels, DFY traffic, and email swipes.
  2. Purchase an email auto-responder: Before building an email list, you will need to buy an autoresponder. Instructions on how to do this can be found within the 12 Minute Affiliate dashboard (additional cost).
  3. Connect the autoresponder to landing pages: Activate your landing pages by connecting your autoresponder to your pages. This allows you to start building your own list through the 12 Minute Affiliate system.
  4. Set up your 12 Minute Affiliate Funnels: Once inside, you can either use DFY landing pages or create customized ones using the intuitive “drag & drop” landing page builder. These pages will be used to capture email addresses.
  5. Buy traffic to start earning money: Purchase traffic within the dashboard and direct it to your landing pages. As people sign up, you can send them to your affiliate offers and follow up with emails containing your affiliate links.
12 Minute Affiliate Review - Quick Start Guide

Do People Get Results With 12 Minute Affiliate?

Devon Brown explains that the 12 Minute Affiliate system is simple to set up.

Once set up, all you need to do is choose a product to promote, pay for traffic to the funnel, collect emails, send offers, and wait for commissions to start rolling in. It sounds easy, right?

The good news is that the 12 Minute Affiliate system has proven to be effective for many users. There are numerous positive testimonials and results from users all over the internet, which is fantastic.

Results and Earnings

However, I would not recommend this program to newbies who are just stepping into the world of affiliate marketing. To truly understand how it all works, you should have at least 2-3 years of experience.

DFY systems like 12 Minute Affiliate may seem like a perfect solution for newbies who want to avoid learning about the business and just make money. But in reality, they are not the program that will provide you with the experience you need.

In my opinion, DFY systems are a waste of time and money. Don’t get me wrong, they can work, but only if you have a good understanding of what you’re doing.

In other words, if you’re interested in making money with affiliate marketing and 12 Minute Affiliate, it’s best to have at least a few years of experience.

Is 12 Minute Affiliate Legit?

The 12 Minute Affiliate is a legitimate Done For You (DFY) affiliate system. Despite mixed reviews, it has the potential to be effective if you follow the necessary steps.

With this system, you gain access to products, landing pages, email templates, and traffic sources.

To get started, simply purchase the autoresponder, add your affiliate links to the landing pages, and drive targeted traffic to generate visitors, sales, and ultimately earn commissions.

Who is the 12 Minute Affiliate for?

The 12 Minute Affiliate system is primarily designed for individuals who want to earn money online with minimal effort. It is essentially a DFY (Done-For-You) system, where you just need to connect the pieces and invest in traffic.

As described by Devon Brown, the 12 Minute Affiliate system is suitable for:

  • people who want to make money online without holding a product or having a service of their own
  • people who don’t want to create funnels or write sales copies
  • anyone who doesn’t want to deal with customer support
  • anyone who has an online business up and running fast

It’s true what Devon claims about creating your own affiliate marketing business from scratch. It is a long and exhausting process, but I speak from experience when I say that building your own business is worth it in the long run.

In my opinion, the 12 Minute Affiliate system could be ideal for individuals who have some experience and lack the patience or nerves to learn the skills and processes on their own. However, I do not recommend it to beginners.

Before diving into these done-for-you systems, it’s crucial to gain knowledge about how affiliate marketing works, creating your own content, driving free traffic, and much more.

Who 12 Minute Affiliate Is Not For?

In my opinion, 12 Minute Affiliate is not suitable for individuals like me who prefer building their own websites, selecting their own niches, and driving traffic from free sources.

Furthermore, it’s not suitable for those who dislike the idea of pre-designed systems or lack control and flexibility.

In conclusion, I would say that 12 Minute Affiliate is not suitable for true affiliate marketers who understand the importance of hard work and creating sustainable long-term ventures.

The main difference between Basic Membership and Gold Membership is the scope of product promotion. Additionally, there are some upsells that you should be aware of…

12 Minute Affiliate System Extra Costs

Including the cost of advertisement is essential when it comes to making money with 12 Minute Affiliate.

In other words, the system’s success relies on the amount you are willing to invest in buying traffic. It’s important to keep this in mind before taking any action.

Now, with that out of the way, let’s shift our focus to the pros and cons in the upcoming sections of my 12 Minute Affiliate review.

What I Like About 12 Minute Affiliate

Affiliate Marketing is a Legit Way to Make Money Online

12 Minute Affiliate is a proven affiliate marketing model that enables people to make money online. It involves promoting ClickBank and JVZoo products through effective marketing funnels.

In my opinion, affiliate marketing is the best way to earn money online. However, I’m not a fan of DFY (Done For You) systems as they do not provide a proper learning experience for affiliate marketing and often lead to failure.

You Get DFY Funnels and Email Swipes

In this 12 Minute Affiliate review, you’ll discover that it offers a variety of DFY features, including sales funnels and email swipes.

This eliminates the need for experienced marketers to create their own funnels or write email content.

With 12 Minute Affiliate, you can easily log into your account, select the preferred sales funnels, and deploy them.

DFY Funnels and Email Swipes

One drawback of this program is that everyone will have access to the same DFY funnels and emails.

This can lead to content duplication issues as more people start using them.

As a marketer, I always strive to maintain original content.

Devon Brown is a Real Deal Affiliate

Unlike many offers these days that utilize fake owners, 12 Minute Affiliate is a rare exception.

One of my initial tasks, before writing a single letter in this 12 Minute Affiliate review, was to gather more information about Devon.

Based on my research, Devon Brown is a real person and a successful online marketer, which adds a lot of credibility to him and this product. I would never endorse or consider a product legitimate if the owner is hiding behind a fake identity.

That’s exactly what scams do!

12 Minute Affiliate Offers Free Training Before Joining

One of the benefits of 12 Minute Affiliate is that you can first access the free training before committing to the paid service.

Devon's Free Affiliate Training

The training is not free in the sense that you receive step-by-step guidance and actual training.

Instead, it is a webinar with Devon Brown showcasing the system.

This actually works in your favor as you get to witness 12 Minute Affiliate in action before deciding whether to invest in it.

You Can Try 12 Minute Affiliate for $9.95 for 14 Days

You can test 12 Minute Affiliate for 14 days at the price of $9.95, which is a fair deal. Moreover, you even have 10 days to ask for a refund.

It’s rare to find a product that offers any kind of free trial.

Money-Back Guarantee Is Available

As mentioned in the previous paragraph of my 12 Minute Affiliate review, you can test it for just ten dollars. Furthermore, if you are not satisfied, you have the option to request a refund within 10 days.

12 Minute Affiliate Review - Money-Back Guarantee

Refunds are issued without any questions according to the official website.

To request a refund, simply contact the vendor, submit your ticket, and wait for a few days to receive your money.

12 Minute Affiliate Community Help & Support

By joining Devon Brown’s DFY program, you will gain access to various benefits, including a supportive community.

These features are crucial for users of all levels.

As a new user, you may encounter challenges and require assistance, which you can readily receive through 12 Minute Affiliate.

12 Minute Affiliate Users Share Positive Results

I appreciate the inclusion of genuine user results on the sales page. It gives the impression that people are actively using this system and achieving financial success.

12 Minute Affiliate User results

It’s difficult for me to verify the authenticity of those results, but they appear genuine and I place trust in them.

Devon Brown’s system has been actively selling for over 2 years, indicating some degree of success among users.

That’s all I appreciate about 12 Minute Affiliate. Now, let’s proceed to the next section of my review.

What I Don’t Like About 12 Minute Affiliate

Devon Brown Includes Paid Traffic Methods

While the price may appear affordable, PPC advertising is a costly endeavor.

One-month campaigns typically amount to approximately $300, requiring a minimum initial investment of $500 to begin with 12 Minute Affiliate. Hence, PPC is not suitable for every budget, particularly for beginners.

The downside of PPC is the possibility of spending a significant amount of money without achieving a positive return on investment, a common occurrence for newcomers. Even with access to the best DFY system, failure is possible without adequate knowledge.

On the bright side, as claimed by Devon on the 12 Minute Affiliate page, it is as easy as ordering a pizza.

Free Traffic

The Costs of 12 Minute Affiliate Keep Piling Up

As mentioned in my review, 12 Minute Affiliate is priced at less than ten bucks. However, the monthly membership costs $47.

Furthermore, there are a few unnecessary aspects down the road. While it’s not a deal-breaker, it sometimes gives the impression that these DFY systems are primarily focused on upselling.

Whenever I come across upsells, it always raises concerns about potential scams. What about you?

Hidden Extra Costs Inside the Members Area

In my earlier statement within this 12 Minute Affiliate review, I highlighted the necessity of investing a significant amount of money into this system for successful outcomes.

Bear in mind that additional expenses encompass more than just upsells and monthly membership fees. You will also need to allocate funds for Solo Ads and invest in various software tools, including link tracking and keyword tools.

It’s important to exercise caution as the initial entry fee may appear deceptively low.

12 Minute Affiliate Sales Page is Overhyped

I probably should have mentioned this as the first thing I dislike about 12 Minute Affiliate.

The sales page has been exaggerated with the purpose of grabbing your attention and capitalizing on your longing for quick online money-making.

12 Minute Affiliate Review - Sales Page Hype

It’s common to come across screenshots of other people’s earnings, misleading claims that ordering traffic is as easy as getting a pizza, and various other advertising tricks. Scams like 24/7 Wealth Club and Multiple Income Funnel employ similar sales pages.

While dull sales pages are unappealing, some boundaries should never be crossed.

You Don’t Own Your Business 100%

I didn’t mention this yet in my 12 Minute Affiliate review, but there is a very bad thing about this system – you will not own your websites and funnels.

Here’s the issue: all those funnels are hosted on a sub-domain, which means that the real owner of your business is Devon Brown himself, not you!

As someone who takes making money online and affiliate marketing seriously, I would never allow this to happen.

I want to have full control over my sites and my business, 100% under my control.

Spending hundreds of dollars on DFY sales funnels that are hosted on a cloud is definitely not what I prefer.

You’re Dependent On 12 Minute Affiliate System

I am not a fan of systems like 12 Minute Affiliate as a marketer. Depending on someone else’s system for my success is not something I prefer. The same goes for DFY systems like this one.

The problem lies in the lack of training provided to help individuals create their own marketing systems. Consequently, the skills and methods required to build and operate one’s own affiliate marketing business remain unlearned.

Personally, I would rather invest the time and effort to build my own business instead of opting for shortcuts like 12 Minute Affiliate, AMZDFY, or Walmart Automation Alliance.

The potential rewards are much higher in the first case scenario.

You Have Limited Choice Of Products

Inside the 12 Minute Affiliate, you will get access to the DFY system, which includes niches and products.

However, a drawback is that you don’t have the freedom to choose the specific product you want to promote.

Instead, you have to settle for what’s provided. This means you may have to take a risk in promoting products you may not like.

Personally, I would prefer to have full control in this aspect as well.

Huge Competition Problems

One of the biggest problems with this system is that all affiliates use the same landing pages and traffic. Consequently, everyone will be promoting the same products to the same audience.

As a result, the market for the offer will likely become saturated with identical offers, possibly already saturated.

I followed Devon’s instructions and sent 200 clicks to the 12 Minute Affiliate page through Solo Ads. Can you guess how many people bought the product? Zero…

That being said, there is a possibility that those who have already seen it may have either already purchased it or simply ignored my landing page because they are not interested.

There is No Guarantee That You’ll Be Making Money

The 12 Minute Affiliate sales page, like many others, is packed with “get rich quick” marketing strategies. It’s easy to be swayed by unrealistic promises. However, the reality is not as glamorous.

Here is a snapshot of the disclaimer from the 12 Minute Affiliate webpage. Take a moment to read it carefully!

12 Minute Affiliate Review - Disclaimer

Devon Brown, like me, knows that making money online is not easy. That’s why he provides these disclosures at the bottom of the page.

Just imagine if everyone who uses 12 Minute Affiliates starts earning money.

But let’s be realistic, that’s not going to happen. So, consider twice before purchasing this product.

Do I Recommend 12 Minutes Affiliate?

Based on my review of the 12 Minute Affiliate, I find myself somewhat undecided. Initially, I expressed that this program might offer a quick pathway to earning money.

However, I have reservations and hesitation regarding Done-for-You (DFY) systems.

Personally, I believe that anything gained quickly tends to disappear just as fast. DFY systems resemble get-rich-quick schemes akin to gambling, rather than providing a reliable path to success in the business.

Moreover, programs like this do not offer comprehensive affiliate marketing skill development.

Instead, I recommend investing a few months with a mentor to learn vital skills such as WordPress, copywriting, search engine optimization, and effectively monetizing your website through affiliate promotions.

These skills can become invaluable throughout your career, potentially generating significantly more income than what DFY systems can offer.

Let’s take a moment to examine Devon Brown as an example.

His investment in learning technical aspects and marketing skills has paid off. I can cite numerous instances where individuals have reaped the rewards of investing time and effort into acquiring these skills, resulting in sustained income for years to come.

Considering the above, while recognizing the 12 Minute Affiliate as a decent system, I cannot genuinely recommend it due to my belief that there are superior methods for earning money online.

12 Minute Affiliate System Review – Conclusion

In my earlier review, I mentioned that 12 Minute Affiliate is not a scam. It is a legitimate online program that can potentially boost your success, especially if you have some experience with affiliate marketing.

However, it’s important to note that you won’t achieve immediate results or start making money in just 12 minutes. But if you have a good understanding and apply some testing and optimization, there is potential to achieve something worthwhile.

Personally, I didn’t achieve a positive return on investment (ROI) when using DFY funnels and solo ads, despite spending hundreds of dollars.

But remember, this is based on my own experience, and it doesn’t mean that you won’t do better. Although I don’t highly recommend 12 Minute Affiliate in my review, it is still a legitimate option if you’re interested.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review on 12 Minute Affiliate! I would love to hear your thoughts. Do you think it’s a scam or legitimate?

Is Devon Brown an Expert?

Although some people trash-talk Devon Brown, I genuinely believe that he is legit. He might not be the top affiliate in the world, but he certainly knows how affiliate marketing works.

Is 12 Minute Affiliate a Scam?

No. 12 Minute Affiliate is not a scam, pyramid scheme, MLM, or anything like that. It’s a legit DFY course for building affiliate websites based on workable methods.

How Long Does It Take To Get Results?

12 Minute Affiliate might take up to a few months to get results. The very process is slow by nature and requires a lot of time, money, testing, and optimizing to get positive ROI.

How Much Money Can I Make?

There’s no guarantee that you can make money with the 12 Minute Affiliate system. But if you do get results, the sky is the limit.

  1. A year before deciding it was time for me to quit my job, I started looking for online opportunities. I have read so many success stories of affiliate marketers so I thought I’d give it a try. Like most newbies, I wanted a program that would make money for me even while I stayed home.

Then I came across this 12-Minute Affiliate that promises you can make money quickly. I was skeptical because, first of all, I’m inexperienced. I do not know if this system will work for everyone.

Most of the reviews I read said the 12-Minute Affiliate Review isn’t a scam. But as you said, it isn’t recommended for newbies like me. If you, somebody who already knows something about making money online did not make money within 12 minutes even after spending on ads, how much more for the inexperienced like me?

By the way, thank you for pointing out the upsells. This is what always turns me off when looking for programs that claim to have been proven a success. To me, this is deception and I hate it.

I will definitely check out your recommendations, thanks for sharing.

    • Hey Alice, thanks for sharing your experience with 12 Minute Affiliate. It’s not a scam, but it may take a lot of time and money to get positive results with this program. If you are a newbie, it’s going to be even harder.

  2. You are correct.  It takes awhile to learn not only the mechanics of building an affiliate marketing platform, but what attracts consumers and what builds traffic.  I have heard of the 12 Minute Affiliate but knew nothing about it.  Your detailed review makes it seem like kind of a add on after a person has the basics of affiliate marketing with an active website set.  I personally would not be willing to invest the monthly amount for something that would not greatly enhance my understanding of affiliate marketing.  Thanks for the review.

  3. A great insight and you have certainly done your homework on this.

So many people can easily fall victim of affiliate training that doesn’t cover the basics when they start as a newbie and can end up going round in circles. I’m surprised this guy doesn’t have as big a successful following on YouTube as he does his other platforms.

It takes years to be a successful affiliate marketer and that’s coming from a newbie like myself that was wary about joining WA in the beginning. It’s not a quick fix to make millions and takes a lot of work in order to get anything back.

Definitely more suited as a side income whilst it grows but I do believe that people can make a lot of money in this business when they learn that it takes consistently over several months/years.

Thanks for sharing your insight into this programme.

  4. Thank you for this detailed review on 12 Minute Affiliate. I have heard about the program before and have seen some of Devon Brown’s videos, but because I am not a huge fan of DFY systems, I have not really explored the program more.

I agree that as a beginner, when one does not how solo ads work, one can easily spend hundreds of dollars on paid traffic, without getting the return. I would rather build my own online business. So 12 Minute Affiliate might be leit, but I prefer your recommendation of Wealthy Affiliate.

  5. Hi Ivan! Interesting… I’m new to all this affiliate program thing. Even it already showed it’s potential and I have learned a lot, your review learned me a lot again. I googled that 12 minute program and of course found million positive reasons to join the program. But it’s really good to hear also those Cons you brought up. Definitely gonna read it second time with better time. Cheers!

  6. It does not sound too legit to me. I see that you have given it a rating of 2 out of 5 but you still recommend it, could you kindly explain that because according to my understanding, two out of 5 is not good at all. I will be sure to share this article with all my friends in the marketing business.

  7. Hi Ivan,

Am I spending only 12 minutes to set this system up and start earning money? Well, I know one thing or two about affiliate marketing, so I know this may not be true. Running an affiliate marketing business takes more than 12 minutes a day, so this program is definitely not for beginners. It also has other letdowns, such as done-for-you pages, paid traffic, and extra costs for autoresponder, so I won’t spend my 12 minutes per day trying 12 Minute Affiliate.

Thanks for sharing all the information today. It helps me make better decisions. 🙂

  9. Wow! I didn’t even know such programs existed! All ready for you to use and make money right away. That sounds too good to be true… just the « 12 minute » brand title seems exaggerated ! Thank you for this super informative review. I don’t like hidden upsells. Just for that i wouldn’t sign up… however it does seem interesting for experienced marketers that have money to invest. It was nice to discover this product.

  10. Thanks Ivan for a great review. After reading your unbiased report I must say I would not want to join the 12 minute Affiliate program. It, as you say, is not an out and out scam, but for a “newbie” like myself it just doesn’t make sense spending that amount of money. Who do you think is the best or at least one of the better groups to join? Thanks for the great info by the way.

  11. Hi Ivan. You have given us another very thorough review. I must admit when I saw the phrases, DFY, and just the title itself, 12 Minute Affiliate, and then that there were a number of upsells, I was straight away thinking scam. However, I do agree that it is fair not to label it a scam, particularly as Devon has put himself out there and is a real person.

One counterargument though, is that if this is not for newbies, then is it really for experienced marketers? I wonder whether experienced marketers would really sign up for a DFY system like this? From that perspective alone, even though as you say it is not for newbies, in all honesty, the target market probably is newbies.

One other positive aspect that I think you could also highlight is that this isn’t only a system that gets its customers to sign up as affiliates of the system. In other words, there are other products and services that this system is promoting other than just itself.

    Best regards, Andy

    • Hi Andy, thanks for your comment on my review. I said it is for experienced marketers because I believe DFY systems are not for newbies as they don’t teach basics. Experienced marketers have mastered basics so they have much better chances with DFY systems like 12-minute affiliate in the long run.

  12. I think that affiliate marketing works different for everyone. I’ve seen people make their first commission within two months, I made mine within six months, this can even take years. It all depends on how much time and effort you’re willing to give to your work. I agree with you, I do not like when company’s are presenting you with an interesting and potential product, but when you dive deeper you see that you will be paying way more than what you expected, or of what you were told you were. It’s always important to do your research before joining something. Thank you for sharing this with us!

    • Hi Stephanie, thanks for your comment on my review. I agree. It’s always important to do your own research before joining something. Gald to see you doing exactly that! I agree that for some people it may take longer to make the first commission, and for some, it may happen pretty fast. I believe that Devon Brown and the 12 Minute Affiliate System promise a bit too much too fast. But at the end of the day, it’s a legit system.

  13. Hey Ivan, Thanks so much for this review of 12 Minute Affiliate. I really do not like DFY systems – I got scammed with 5 Minute Profit Pages some time ago and wrote a scam review on it on my website. People should be left in no doubt after reading your review that there really is no way to get rich quickly. You do need to put in the hard yards to learn about affiliate marketing and reap the benefits. Cheers, Jenni.

Because the name of this platform denotes a short period of time, and I have been learning that that’s what scams try to make us belive, that “making money online is fast”, I initially though 12 Minute Affiliate was a scam. 17. Hey Ivan, I just read through your article and found it very useful to read. It’s interesting how the owner is a real person who’s had success in affiliate marketing but at the same time, the product doesn’t seem to match up. Especially with how there’s only 3 niches you can choose. I like scaling my own affiliate business because I know I can choose the niche I’m most passionate about and attract traffic for free. I don’t have two to three years of internet marketing experience so this wouldn’t be for me and I’m not really a big fan of paying for traffic. Have you come across any complaints about this service online?  Thanks again for your honest and unbiased review.

  19. This is a really in-depth review of 12 Minute Affiliate.  It is definitely not a scam and I took the 14 day trial to see how good the system was.

It’s good, but what came to my attention was the fact that you had to buy traffic as well as pay monthly for the programme.  Once I did my Maths, I realised it was going to be quite expensive to maintain.  So I cancelled my trial before it ended.

Just like Aaron mentioned in his video, it’s best to know where your traffic is coming from and Solo Ads is not targeted traffic unlike if it were Facebook Ads you were doing.

I rest my case.  Scam? No, but can you make an income from 12 Minute Affiliate? Maybe.

    Reply
    • Hi Stelly, thanks for your comment on my review! I agree with you. 12 Minute Affiliate is focused on solo ads, which is not the best way to get traffic online. You don’t know where are your leads coming from, and you can’t fully control the traffic. On the other hand, Facebook ads and SEO allow you to target the exact audience avatar that suits your offer the best, which ultimately leads to better conversions and more money in your pocket! I agree, it’s not a scam. But it’s hard to make an income with DFY systems like 12 Minute Affiliate.

  20. I started laughing about halfway through your review because I couldn’t believe that anyone would fall for this sort of promotion. Really! Would anyone pay for the privilege of having someone else own their business while they foot all the promotion and running costs. And if you leave the company they keep the lot. That’s super crazy when you can set it up yourself by learning on the job, much safer and less costly. Yes, it will take you a bit longer as you need to learn but in the end, you will own your business and really understand how to make money as an affiliate marketer.

I’m so pleased that you exposed this business for the real truth behind their marketing style.

    • Hi Lily, thanks for sharing your comment. I’m 100% on your side. I also think that it’s a dumb idea to let someone else set everything up for you while you pay for the costs. That’s not a way to become successful in any business. People should learn how to build their own sites and funnels, drive organic traffic, and manage their own businesess. That’s a sure way to long-term success.

Good to know it’s legit and provides a 14-day trial, at least he’s not trying to take our money and run. But getting rich quick doesn’t ever happen. I know I’ve tried. I was interested in his program, but after reading y our review, I will try my luck elsewhere. Such as the link you have shared at the bottom. It seems to have a better outlook.

  26. Hello Ivan!

Well, the 12 Minute Affiliate program is not a real scam, but of course isn’t the very best of Affiliate Marketing either. Successful ways to richness are rather “Slow but sure”, and not like 12 minute or “Get rich quick” like we call certain offers out there on the Internet. And especially for beginners in the domain, 12 Minute Affiliate is indeed too risky.

Thanks for sharing the article with us! It helps us know that there is one more program to be avoided.

I agree with you completely. The best way to make money online, in my experience as well, is if you take things slow, learn the basics, and then start building your own business from the ground up. That way, you’ll make money and get the knowledge with which you can multiply your income as much as you want.
The 12 Minute Affiliate is legitimate, but I don’t recommend it.

Honestly, I believe nothing is free.  In fact, some things can be downright disastrous.

Your review is about as objective as anyone can be, (that’s a compliment, not sarcasm or any kind of negative criticism)…

The program is as far as I am concerned a “Win-Win” business for the owners of the program.

I think it would be interested to hear from the average person out there, (if any) who has actually bought into this program and find out how it all worked out for him or her.

In my opinion, the program is based on an illogical premise.  I mean, if you need to earn some income to help you pay your bills, why would anyone pay someone else’s bills instead of paying their own bills. It’s nonsense.

I have no idea what type of person would actually buy into this…

Good job! Thanks for the review.

  28. 12 Minute Affiliate sounds a bit meh from the get-go to be honest. Most if not all products that make get-rich-quick claims tend to not be recommended, so I’m not surprised to see this product follows suit. With 12 Minute Affiliate it’s good to see at least that the owner is transparent, and that it might be good for some beginners. But I have to agree with your recommendation as it is a bit pricey and indeed there are no guarantees, so there is a fair amount of risk involved. Your alternative Wealthy Affiliate is a much better choice with far less risk. Great post and thanks for the heads up regarding 12 Minute Affiliate

As far as I was able to see, the only people that recommend the 12 Minute Affiliate are those who are promoting it to make money. This doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work, but it would be more encouraging to see more positive testimonials and reviews out there.

Yes, I recommend Wealthy Affiliate and many other legitimate programs that I’ve purchased and tested myself. WA seems to be the best option for beginners as well as those who are looking to improve their marketing skillset.

  30. Thank you, Ivan, for bringing this information to light. I often fall for marketing ploys like the one 12-minute affiliate marketing offers. Then after a few months, I always seem poorer than when I started.

I have just begun a blog of my own, in a niche I love. The neat thing I get from affiliate marketing through a blog is enjoyment. I love the subject I am writing about, so the lack of immediate returns is not bothering me at this time. I have seen a trickle of organic traffic, but most of my traffic comes from my Pinterest marketing.

Do you have any other suggestions of where a person can go to market for free?

Keep up the excellent work; I look forward to reading more reviews.

    • Hi Dovey, I’m sorry to hear that. Make sure you always read a relevant review before signing up for anything. There are a lot of scams out there.

On the other hand, I’m glad to hear you’ve found blogging useful and you are passionate about it. It’s a long term investment where the financial returns come last. However, they come in passive form because you’ve already done the work.

Pinterest is a great way to market your content for free. You can also include other social media. Nothing is off limits. If you are not camera-shy, YouTube is the third member of the ‘the holy trio’ next to Google and Pinterest. All three are search engines (Text, Images, Videos).

      I hope this helps. 🙂

  31. Hmm, this article really makes me think of what might be best. Paying for traffic is not ideal, but I have not found organic traffic yet to my site. I am hoping that that is because its only a two months old but I’m not sure. Do you have any advice for generating some traffic to an affiliate website?

    Reply
    • Hi Kendra, paying for traffic is not something that I would recommend, especially if you are new to affiliate marketing. I’m an advocate of SEO and that’s my best recommendation for generating traffic to your site.

Google and other search engines keep all new websites in a so-called ‘sandbox’, which means that your site is evaluated for quality and quantity of content during the first 12 months. That’s why you haven’t got any significant traffic to your site.

Therefore, the best advice is to keep publishing great articles on your blog. If you can write at least 100 blog posts in the first year, you’ll experience organic traffic to your site. Another good thing you can try to do while you wait for search engines to take your site seriously is to share your content on social media.

If you want to read more, here is an article about getting free traffic to your site.

      I hope this helps. 🙂

You right as well, creating your own funnel and your emails follow-up takes time but it is the success for a long time relationship-business
When you paid this $9.95 for the 14 trials what can you really accomplish if you’ve got some knowledge about affiliate marketing? I do understand you’ll have to invest in ads but I wonder what can you do in that short period of time.
Thanks for this honest review Ivan

    • Hi Charles, for $9.95 you’ll get 14 days trial, yes. However, it’s not enough to make anything. Affiliate marketing takes time to create, as you’ve said, a long time relationship with your business. The price is $47 per month if you want to take this system seriously and make some money in the end.

  36. Great review Ivan! One thing that I didn’t quite get if the products you market through these funnels are of your choosing, or fixed? I understood you change the affiliate links to your own but I instantly think with schemes like these that the products you sell are actually owned by the same company/author. Meaning that you pay them for the privilege to market their product and they make the big bugs on every turn. I guess you could call it a form of multi level marketing.

I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve fallen for similar “make money quick” products couple of times in the past and gave up on the whole online/affiliate marketing business because of them. I decided to give it a one more go though. This time I’m doing it the right way and have created a ton of high quality content with aim of attracting organic traffic through seo. After a year of fiddling and learning I’m starting to see real results, wish me luck!

    Reply
    • Hi Jukka, according to Devon Brown, the products you market are fixed within those three categories mentioned. I haven’t found any signs telling me that you’ll end up selling the 12 Minute Affiliate course or anything related to the company to make money. As you can see, it’s a set of done-for-you funnels. However, I would not get into it so easy for the reasons mentioned in my review. Paid traffic and lead generation are not something I would go for in DFY package.

We all fall for those ‘make money quick’ stories at one point or another. I’m glad to hear that you haven’t given up and I’m happy that you have found SEO to be the best way to generate FREE traffic to your business. I wish you much success in the future!

  37. Interesting. Anyone who promises a quick solution to an otherwise lengthy process really makes you think twice, doesn’t it? I mean, how do they get around SEO, for example? Gaining organic traffic takes some time. Heck, even getting indexed takes some time. You can’t just barrel your way through it.

Thanks for this article. I hope it saves a few people from making what looks like a costly mistake in the making.

    • Hi Jade, 12 Minute Affiliate shows how to get traffic through ads, not SEO. Solo ads are a faster way to generate leads, but it’s not as reliable as good old SEO which as you said, takes time but it’s worth it.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your thoughts here. 🙂

      • Quick question: if none of you actually tried this product to check if you can make money with it, how can I be sure that you’re actually making money with WA?
All the “reviews” that I’ve found so far, positive or negative, are more overviews than reviews.
You say what the product is about, you base your thoughts on guesses (because you haven’t actually tried it) and leave the reader with the idea that you wrote the “review” of this program only to promote the other one.

        • Hi Cris Monaco, thanks for leaving your comment. All my reviews are based on my own observation, research, and experience with a product. If I can, I’ll always purchase the product before writing my review. I’ll never write a negative review or trash-talk a company/person/product for no reason. All my reviews are mostly unbiased. Yes, I promote Wealthy Affiliate training program among other good services. It’s one of the many training programs that I purchased, tried, tested, and made money with.
