So is Douglas James Marketing a scam or a legit way to make money online?
The long answer is in this post. But I can save you some time and say that it is not a scam. However, I don’t recommend it as it is, in my opinion, too expensive.
There are many same and yet less expensive courses out there.

You can also apply to join some seminars where Douglas James himself will teach you more about digital marketing techniques and how to attract more clients.
Who Is Douglas James?
Douglas James is what they call “the high-ticket client guy” or the “high-ticket guy.” He got that title because of his accomplishments in landing high-ticket, high-paying clients.
You may know him from his growing YouTube channel where he shares free content, tips, and success from his students.
Before he became a successful entrepreneur today, he was once a Navy Corpsman, and he was on board the USNS Mercy once.
They provide healthcare assistance in several third-world counties like Fiji, Guam, and the Philippines.
According to him, his experience inspired him to elevate other people and guide them toward success.
This could be pure sales talk to persuade you into enrolling in his courses, but it’s still something to take note of.
Douglas decided to enrol at George Washington University School of Business.
After that, he created these courses so that he could help other entrepreneurs to get high-ticket clients.
This is not the first online course Douglas created because, in 2011, he created a business named Amped Local, and that business also offers the same services to other entrepreneurs.

If you want to get all the courses inside Douglas James Marketing, you have to pay a one-time payment of $3,000.
You must expect to hear that price when you want to get information from the high-ticket client guy.
However, it does not mean you have to go for it.
If you pay that kind of money for any advertising program or marketing, you will get tons of valuable experience.
There are a lot of courses out there that some of which are more expensive than these. Some marketers keep asking for more money no matter how deep you get into their funnels.
However, there are much cheaper courses with better credentials, and some are free.

Here’s what I can say, Douglas’s methods are effective, and there is no question about what he accomplished and earned.
However, that doesn’t mean that everybody can replicate his success using his methods.
This is why most online courses have the earnings disclaimer that says that “Results may vary” on their websites.
Sure, several Douglas James Marketing reviews can give proof that the system works.
For example, on Trustpilot, you can see that all are positive. But there is no solid proof that anyone has made money or landed a high-ticket offer using this system.
Those who succeeded, I’m sure that they spent a lot of money to help them with this system.
As we all know, not all of us have that kind of money for marketing, especially newcomers.
Can You Make Money With Douglas James Marketing?

He asserts you can get rich by just following his easy online marketing methods.
However, Douglas James doesn’t actually say what people would in fact be doing to earn money.
Douglas does state that he’s been collaborating with several of the greatest names and has assisted them to generate more website traffic for their internet sites using Google Adwords, which is why Douglas James Marketing costs $3,997.
Douglas declares he will share the “secret” to his success with you, yet never really tells anybody what this trick is.

In this section of my Douglas James Marketing review, I will share a few red flags that I stumbled across.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that Douglas James Marketing is a scam, although I will be discussing that after I tell you more about the things I didn’t like.
The High-Ticket Experience Is Low On Info
The training doesn’t give much information since most concepts are outdated and will not show you how to start your online business.
Instead, you will hear some small sales talk that will further encourage you to sign up for his other courses.
Douglas James Marketing Is Expensive
As you already know, you need to pay a one-time fee of $3000 to get started with Douglas James’ courses.
It is either the cheapest or the most expensive, but other online training courses out there don’t require you to spend that much money.
The Content Is Not That Special
The content does not give you relevant information on how to succeed in the online world.
You can replace it by watching videos on Youtube repeating the same process and techniques for free.
The only good thing here is that Douglas shares his real-life experience in the courses.
But that is not enough to make you purchase the course.
Your Chances To Make Money Are Not Great
You see, the problem is that the people who join this kind of program spend a lot of money and expect fast results.
When time goes by, they feel that it does not work, and in the end, they will give up, and all that money they spend will be gone to waste.
Remember, there are many people out there that is more experience than Douglas James, and some of them don’t cost you that much money.
Yes, Douglas helped people based on the testimonials that you see on Trustpilot, but still, for me, I don’t think this is worth your money.

There are many legit training courses out there that teach you the same thing as Douglas James training course.
However, as I said earlier, you have to be careful what you buy or join because very few of them are legit.
So always do your research so that you’ll know if they are legit or not.
As for Douglas’s training course, it is valuable and legit though it doesn’t give you a lot of information, so spending $3,000 on this training course? I don’t think so.
I’d rather spend that money on creating my own business than spend it on Douglas training courses that have no guarantee of success.
It would be much better if you did it on your own so that you would know the front and back ends of your business.
