Home Job Stop Review – SCAM or LEGIT?

Welcome to my Home Job Stop review.

Unfortunately, there are so many scams out there these days that it’s hard to tell the difference between a scam and a legitimate opportunity to make money online.

Is Home Job Stop a scam? Can it help you to make money online? Is this platform going to live up to the expectations?

When I first bumped into Home Job Stop site, I was sure it is just another scam that tricks people into spending their time and money for someone else’s profits.

But I stayed to learn more about the platform, and in this Home Job Stop review, I’m going to show you what I’ve discovered.

Without any further ado, let’s find out the truth.

Home Job Stop Review

Home Job Stop Review – Overview

  • Product Type: Freelancing (Telecommuting)
  • Owner: Unknown
  • Price: $18 for a lifetime access
  • Money-Back Guarantee: 60-days
  • Recommended?: Yes and no…

Quick Summary: What is your perfect scenario when it comes to working from home opportunities?

Do you want to help someone else run their business by doing small tasks for them?

Or do you want to start your own small online business, and eventually, once you grow large enough, employ others to do your small tasks for you?

In my opinion, the choice is obvious. I would go for the latter, no questions asked.

However, with Home Job Stop, you’re getting the former. In other words, HJS is a platform where you can find a list of people or companies that need assistants and generally, people to take a load of work.

To find out more about these jobs, follow my Home Job Stop review. Or if you want to start a successful online business and work for yourself, click the link below!

What is Home Job Stop?

As I said above in the review, Home Job Stop is an online database of jobs specializing in telecommuting and real work from home jobs.

The platform has been operating successfully for over 20 years and counting. Home Job Stop members enjoy unlimited access to advertisement-free Job Bank, where you can find jobs in several categories, such as:

  • Business
  • Clerical
  • Customer Service
  • Engineering
  • Programming
  • Finance
  • Graphic Art
  • Human Resource
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Transcription
  • Web Design
  • Writing

And since they offer lifetime memberships for a low one-time joining fee, you will not incur any additional charges or renewal fees, and your membership will never expire.

So as far as I’m concerned, there are no scam signals above Home Job Stop that could point at any illegal activity, or mistreating its members for someone else’s profits.

How Does Home Job Stop Work?

One thing that shows that Home Job Stop is scam-free site is their dedication to run the platform without giving or allowing employers to post outrageous claims to attract workforce.

Additionally, they prohibit the posting of pyramid schemes, chain letters, or other well-known schemes or scams.

The company do not accept any paid ads either. So the work you can find inside of the platform is entirely legitimate.

Before you can apply for these jobs, you need to pay a one-time fee of $18, which gives you lifetime access to the Home Job Stop platform.

The next few steps are simple. You have to find the job you want, do the work and get paid according to your agreement with the employer. And that’s pretty much it!

The benefit of these jobs is that you can work to your own schedule, don’t have to leave the house, you can save money, and it’s relatively easy and cheap to get started.

Also, to help you get started, you’ll find some resources such as ebooks included in your membership.

Is Home Job Stop a Scam?

A lot of people out there are worried that Home Job Stop is a scam. The site does not look like something special, and it’s easy to get this feeling considering the number of such scams out there.

For example, some platforms will sell you the same idea. However, once you pay them money to get inside, you discover that the job board is empty.

Some others will use the same scheme to redirect you to platforms such as Fiverr or Upwork where you can find tons of online jobs listed too.

And all these sites are scamming people. A few examples are:

But you don’t need to worry, Home Job Stop is not a scam, and it contains legitimate opportunities to find some work on the internet.

The main idea behind the platform is to connect online job seekers with employees and help them to start working together on projects of your choice.

However, this does not guarantee that the site is 100% clean.

I’ve managed to find a few customer complaints and reviews that could give you the best insights into this opportunity to make money online.

Home Job Stop Complaints and Reviews

As you can see for the image below, Tammy says that she’s managed to find six different jobs throughout the last few years, and is still working on two of them.

In other words, she’s happy with Home Job Stop platform and recommends it in her review.

Now, on the other hand, Christine has given them a low rating and calls the platform a joke. She claims that most of the listings are expired, which if it’s true, is a severe problem.

She was unhappy with the work of the platform, and her review tells it all.

Dan also Calls Home Job Stop a scam because he paid for the lifetime membership and then lost access to the platform after a few months.

Also, he too noticed that the jobs are outdated and that their screening process for fake jobs and scams is not strong enough. You can read Dan’s experience below.

All in all, there is a lot of mixed reviews out there. I’m not saying that either side is right.

But, I can’t neglect those negative reviews and complaints because they all point at the same problems, which is a visible sign that Home Job Stop owners don’t care about the platform that much anymore.

Would you care to give you money to someone who does not care about the service?

It’s a tough question, I know.

Who Is Home Job Stop For?

Although there are plenty of free sites where you can find work from home, this platform could also be considered if this is something that you’re after. You can find some work inside for sure.

Just keep in mind that this is not the best deal out there. You can find a lot of work on free sites like Fiverr or Upwork.

In my opinion, Home Job Stop is for:

  • stay at home moms and dads
  • home-based workers
  • make money online opportunity seekers
  • freelancers of all kinds

I’m not a big fan of these sites because they’re not the best way to make money online. However, this site is legitimate and could be a helpful resource for finding online work.

How Much Does It Cost To Join?

The price to join the platform seems to be $36 one time. However, by the time of writing this review, you can join the platform for only $18, and you will get lifetime access to Home Job Stop database.

I’m a fan of life-time membership deals. On top of that, your purchase is covered with ClickBank money-back guarantee as well. In other words, if you don’t like the deal, you’ll have 60 days to request a refund.

ClickBank issues refunds without any questions asked, which makes this essentially a risk-free purchase.

Home Job Stop Pros & Cons

Finding legitimate places to work online is almost as hard as it is to win the lottery. There is a lot of scams all over the net that pretends to be some legitimate place to make money online. However, this one is an exception.

Pros

I like that the platform is fairly easy to join, and comes with a low-cost membership fee. Moreover, unlike some other ClickBank products, this one keeps things clean and fair. There are no outrageous claims or promises that you’ll make tons of money right from the start.

All in all, Home Job Stop could help you to find an online job in a variety of categories.

  • Easy to Join
  • Low-Cost Membership
  • No Hype or Outrageous Claim
  • Variety of Categories
  • Could Help to Find Online Jobs

Cons

One of the things that I don’t like about Home Job Stop is that the platform looks like it is not updated regularly. This is evident in some jobs that are still posted but are expired.

Another thing that I consider to be a bad thing is those customer complaints that I’ve shown you earlier. When someone pays for the service and does not get what he or she has been promised, it’s a thing to consider.

  • The Platform is Not Regularly Updated
  • Some Jobs Are Expired
  • Negative Customer Reviews and Complaints

Final Words & Recommendation

Although Home Job Stop is not a scam per see, it’s not something that I would be happy to recommend. Sure, the platform is legitimate, but it’s not the best way to make money online I’ve ever seen.

It seems to me that the owners have abandoned the platform as it looks outdated and a lot of jobs expired.

This is not something that you want when joining an opportunity to make money online. You want fresh opportunities and not outdated ones.

In any case, the platform is legitimate. Thanks for reading my Home Job Stop review. I hope it was helpful.

My recommendation would be to start your own online business instead.

It may take longer to see the results in terms of earnings, but it’s a much better way to make money online because there’s no limit to your income!

Moreover, your income is semi-passive. Or you can even hire others to run it for you and turn it into a completely passive income. The choice is yours.

To do so, make sure to click the button and see the next page…

  1. Thank you for making this review. This platform looks a lot like Fiverr and Upwork, so if anyone want to get a freelancing job I suggest that they go with Upwork. It is an established website that has been proven to be legit. If you are good at what you do and market yourself, you may start earning a lot, but with such big competition it would be hard to succeed without a course that teaches you how.

So for anyone reading this comment: If you don’t have a lot of experience I would suggest to go with Ivan’s recommendation – Wealthy Affiliate. 🙂

    • Hi Delyana, thanks for sharing your comment on my review of Home Job Stop. You’re right, it does look like Fiverr or Upwork. Those two would be much better choices since it’s free to join and find work, but you’ll have a much bigger competition.

Thanks for supporting my recommendation as well. Wealthy Affiliate is an awesome platform for marketers of all levels. The main idea behind WA is to build a website and earn an income via affiliate marketing. It’s the best choice because the income is passive so unlike with Home Job Stop, you can actually put your affiliate business on autopilot and have more free time.
