Wholesale Underground is an online course that teaches how to buy products from local distributors that promote merchandise under a wholesale agreement. The objective is to sell those products on Amazon to earn a profit from the difference in price.

As I was saying earlier in this Wholesale Underground review, this course is designed to teach you how to buy a wholesale product and resell them on Amazon for a higher margin. The study goes over six training modules and contains around 70 videos.

Marvin Leonard hosts each lesson of the course and pretty much goes into every detail of the business. Some videos are concise, only a few minutes. But some go in-depth for more than 20 minutes.

That said, let’s go over each training module to see what you can learn from Marvin.

Training Module 1

Naturally, the first training module of Wholesale Underground is about the basics of the business. With module 1, you can learn how to get started and how to set up your business, and more. Marvin shows how to become a seller, find products, etc.

You will also learn important things like having a reseller ID to conduct business in the US. Then, there’s an introduction to Amazon FBA and how it works as well as a tour of the platform.

Training Module 2

The second training module is about creating a foundation for your business. Marvin says that if you don’t do this right, your company does not have any chance. So with these videos, he’s showing the following basics:

how to use the buy box
how to price the products
how to analyze your competition
how to list your products
what tools you need to use
how to analyze your dashboard
how to order the right quantity
how to know you inventory limits
how to do product checklist
how to scale from profits

It’s important to say that you’ll be required to use and purchase some tools that are not included in the course. Marvin recommends AMZ Scout Pro (Amazon Chrome extension $15 per month) and RevSeller (Amazon Chrome extension $99 per month).

Moreover, he will teach you how to build a contact list and maintain the same, sending the correct emails that get opened and answered. Also, he explains some advanced tactics that will get you more opportunity on Amazon, allowing you to sell in more categories.

Training Module 5

The training module five is all about payment. You’ll learn how to handle your first payment placement and how to contact and pay for your first order. You get a guide on shipping using SPD shipments.

What I Don’t Like About Wholesale Underground

I know you’ll agree with me when I say that the price for the content given is a bit too expensive. Moreover, the two types of membership make no sense. Monthly membership is half of the cost of the yearly membership. I’m guessing Marvin has not thought that one through.

Moreover, wholesale is definitely now for beginners. If you’re just stepping into the world of making money online, you’ll see what I mean. This is not something that requires only a laptop and a few bucks to get started. Wholesale is a real business, literally. You’ll have to register a business in the physical world before you can get started.

Also, I find it disappointing that the course does not offer any in-house tools. This means that you’ll have to outsource all the tools you need to build a business in wholesale. And this could cost a few $ 100’s per month.

Lastly, if you want to apply for a refund, you need to submit a proof that you’ve taken action with Wholesale Underground course first. It’s an action-based guarantee, which is not my favourite one.

Is Wholesale Underground a Scam or Legit?

No! Wholesale Underground is not a scam. Marvin Leonard and his training course are 100% legitimate.

As you can see from my review, Marvin takes care to lead you through the entire process of setting up and growing an Amazon wholesale business. The information within the course is legitimate, and if put to action should produce results.

However, if feel like the price of this course is not the most legitimate one out there. What I want to say is, I think the course is overpriced and therefore, not suitable for beginners and broad masses. Also, there are some extra costs with this business that should have been, in my opinion, disclosed on the sales page.

Moreover, wholesale requires buying products and holing stock. The good thing is, you can hire a 3rd party to store and ship the products for you. However, wholesale carries a lot of risks with it. You can end up trying to sell something that no one wants to buy or ordering too much of a product that is not moving anywhere.

What I want to say is that despite the Wholesale Underground is a legitimate course, I feel it is an extremely risky business that requires a lot of trial and failure. In other words, this course is not my top recommendation.
