About the Reviewer
Hey, I’m Ivan Brozincevic!
Since 2018, I’ve been making a full-time income online, which allowed me to quit my old job (about me).
In the beginning, I struggled to identify legit courses and avoid ones that were just out for my money.
That’s why I created this website – my main goal is to help you steer clear of pitfalls and discover the top online business courses.
Every week, I invest hours in reviewing online courses and writing reviews based on my fact-driven review guidelines to assist you in making an informed choice.

Is Arise Work From Home a Scam?
Before writing this review, I conducted a thorough background check to determine if Arise Work From Home is a scam. I came across mixed emotions and will discuss these complaints in the next section.
For now, it’s safe to say that Arise Work From Home is a legitimate opportunity for setting up a home-based business and working as a customer support agent.
Arise Visual Solutions, founded in 1994, connects brands to a network of thousands of Service Partners who provide customer, sales, and technical support services from their homes.
I’ve encountered some cheap knockoff schemes that make similar promises but end up scamming people. For instance, Write App Reviews and IM Mastery Academy are platforms engaging in such scams. Arise is different.
It’s a legitimate work-from-home opportunity.
However, there are mixed reviews, so it’s important to consider these reports and keep reading.
What Is Arise Work From Home?
Arise Work From Home is an online platform that connects freelancers and remote workers with big companies, providing them with the option to outsource their customer service needs.
By working from home, you can earn an income while serving these companies.
The network offers clients full certification training and the autonomy to select their employer. However, before accessing these work-from-home jobs, certain requirements need to be met.
For instance, you need to fulfil the following:
- own equipment
- set up LLC
- provide bank details
- pass the certification course
- etc.
In the next section of my Arise Work From Home review, I’ll be discussing these requirements.
How To Start Working With Arise?
Arise Work From Home is not your typical get-rich-quick scheme. Registration alone won’t grant you immediate access to work.
Before you can start, you must meet certain requirements.
One of the primary prerequisites is being at least 18 years old and residing in the US, Canada, or the UK. As a Service Partner, you’ll provide customer support services from the comfort of your home.
Let’s dive into the registration process with Arise.
Step 1. Register Your Information
To get started, fill in the registration form on the official Arise website. While submitting your registration, ensure you choose the appropriate role/option that you’re registering for.
First, you’ll need to pass a voice test, which is quite logical when you think about it.
Then, if you pass the test, you’ll have to provide a background check, which you’ll need to cover the cost of. In other words, you must demonstrate a “clear history” before signing the non-disclosure agreement.
Step 2. Register LLC and Open Business Bank Account
To set up a home-based business, you’ll need to fulfil certain requirements. One essential step is establishing an LLC (at your expense) and opening a business bank account before you can begin taking clients.
Failure to complete this step will prevent you from accessing the database, so it’s crucial to prioritize it.
Step 3. Set Up Your Home Office
After completing steps one and two, you will need to set up your own home office – at your expense. This office should include a phone, a dedicated phone line, high-speed internet, and a set of headphones.
Arise does not require you to buy state-of-the-art equipment. All it needs is to be technically correct.
You can read more about equipment requirements here.
Step 4. Pass The Certification Course
To proceed, the next step in the process is to complete the Certification Course, as it is mandatory. Working cannot commence until this course is finished.
In summary, the training provided by Arise equips you with the necessary skills before you begin your work-from-home journey.
Step 5. Find Clients and Start Your Business
The main purpose of the Arise platform is to connect Service Partners like you with global companies in search of remote workers to meet their customer service and support requirements.
To begin your own business from home with Arise, you will gain access to the database where you can start applying for work.
That’s it! In the next part of this Arise Work From Home review, we will explore the cost of getting started.
What Jobs Can You Find With Arise?
Arise offers a variety of legitimate job opportunities, connecting you with clients across different categories:
- Home Improvement Supplier
- Grocery Delivery Retailer
- Cable and Internet Provider
- Cruise Lines
- Roadside Assistance
- Major Theme Parks
- Healthcare
- Sporting Goods Provider
You have the freedom to choose the opportunity that best matches your skills, desires, and schedule.
Arise has established partnerships with well-known companies such as Carnival Cruises, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Intuit, and more.
Rest assured, Arise is a trustworthy platform amidst the sea of online job scams.
During my review of scams such as Paid Social Media Jobs and Clickearners, it became apparent that these platforms promote fake jobs within their directories.
Initially, everything appears legitimate, but once you make payment, the truth is revealed. However, you can rest easy when it comes to Arise.
After thoroughly exploring the platform and gathering information online, I am confident that it is a legitimate opportunity.
How Much Does It Cost To Start With Arise?
Arise Work From Home, truth be told, may not be the most beginner-friendly work-from-home business opportunity.
They require a substantial investment before you “open your doors,” which might deter many potential pursuers.
Here’s the breakdown of the costs, as provided by the Arise Work From Home website.
- Setting Up a Legal Entity (LLC) – $100-$350 (varies by state)
- Phone Live – approx. $75 plus the installation fee
- Telephone Keypad and Headphone Set – approx- $35-$100
- Certification Course – $50-$250
Additionally, there will be recurring fees.
- Platform Usage – $39.50 per month
- Internet – Approx. $60 per month
- Phone Line – approx. $18-$35 per month
Arise offers the opportunity to set up a home-based business and employ multiple people, which means you will need to multiply the costs by 2 for each person you hire.
Starting with Arise involves various costs, so let’s now examine the potential return on investment in the next part of this Arise Work From Home review. Keep on reading to find out more.
How Much Can You Earn With Arise?
Arise offers the potential to earn money online. If you’re willing to invest time and money as an online employee, it’s worth aiming to generate significant income.
On their official website, there are numerous reports of varying incomes, with some reaching as high as $19 per hour. However, the consensus appears to be around $10 per hour, which is a conservative estimate.
Ultimately, your earnings with Arise depend on your efforts.
Is Arise BBB Accredited?
Arise or Arise Visual Solutions has been accredited by BBB since 2005 with an A+ rating. It is worth mentioning that the BBB accreditation adds credibility to Arise.
However, the average rating of 2.3/5 stars is not something to brag about. Overall, the opportunity is legitimate, but it’s up to you to make it worthwhile.
Rest assured, you are safe from a scam.
Who is Arise Work From Home Best For?
Arise is a great option for anyone who wants to work from home as a freelance customer service agent. You don’t need any specific skills or degrees to start your own customer service business because Arise provides all the necessary training.
Who can benefit from this opportunity?
- Stay-at-home moms and dads
- Retirees
- Individuals looking for a side hustle
- Anyone interested in starting a home-based customer service business
It is important to note that Arise requires you to be from the US, the UK, or Canada. Additionally, flexibility with your working hours is essential.
While Arise claims that you can choose your hours, they will assign you specific schedules, limiting your availability to only those hours.
Do I Recommend Arise Work From Home?
Arise is indeed a rare, legitimate work-from-home opportunity.
That said, if you are interested in the concept of Arise Work From Home, it is a legitimate opportunity to establish your own home office and even hire employees.
Arise Work From Home Online Reviews
Arise has mixed reviews across various platforms. After checking a few, I found a wide range of feedback. It’s common for companies like this to have both positive and negative opinions.
On one hand, some people view it as a great opportunity to start a home business. On the other hand, there are complaints about the service, technical aspects, and issues with overcharging.
Again, it’s completely normal to receive this kind of feedback, so there’s no need to worry.
Fortunately, I haven’t come across any reviews branding Arise as a scam or anything of the sort.
However, it is crucial to reiterate that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Establishing your own work-from-home business requires significant time, effort, and resources.
Arise Work From Home – What I Like
After careful consideration, we have determined that Arise is not a scam. It presents an exciting business opportunity. Here are a few aspects that I appreciate about Arise.
- Established Company (In business since 1994)
- Flexibility to Choose Your Clients
- They Bring The Work To You
- Helps To Set Up Fully-Legitimate Business
- They Provide Training
- You Can Hire People To Work For You
Established Company (In business since 1994)
When determining if Arise is a scam or a legitimate company, it is crucial to delve into their background. I have done exactly that.
Arise has been on the market since 1994, establishing itself as a well-established and trustworthy company.
Flexibility to Choose Your Clients
One of the things I like about Arise is the flexibility they offer when choosing clients. They have several categories based on your schedule, skills, needs, experience, and other factors.
This gives you total flexibility with your work.
Arise Will Bring The Work To You
This platform stands out with its top feature: an easy and streamlined process to help you find legitimate work-from-home opportunities, all from the comfort of your sofa.
The organization and structure of this platform ensure a hassle-free experience and allow you to focus on finding the best opportunities.
Helps To Set Up Fully-Legitimate Business
One more thing that proves Arise is not a scam is its assistance in setting up a legitimate LLC business.
This means you’ll be going legit right from the start!
Arise Work From Home Provide Training
Arise not only offers exceptional service but also provides extensive training.
Unlike most work-from-home sites that are scams targeting your money, this website goes beyond just job listings.
With Arise, you can trust that you’ll receive the necessary support and assistance.
You Can Hire People To Work For You
Once your business starts to grow, you have the option to hire other people through the Arise platform.
This will allow you to open your own small customer service office.
Arise Work From Home – What I Don’t Like
While working from home may seem like a fantastic opportunity, it’s important to note that Arise has some drawbacks. Please keep in mind that the following are solely my personal opinions, but they are worth considering.
- No Free Trial or Free Training
- Startup Process Takes Too Long
- You Need To Invest In Technology
- They Charge Recurring Fee To Keep Access To Jobs
- It’s Not As Flexible As It Seems
- Only For US, UK, and Canada Residents
- It Could Be Highly Competitive To Get The Best Jobs
No Free Trial or Free Training
One thing I dislike is the absence of a free trial or similar offerings. I always prefer to test-drive things before spending money on any product or service.
Do you share the same sentiment?
Startup Process Takes Too Long
One more thing that I didn’t like was the duration of the startup process.
I understand that there might be some sort of checkup for your papers, but based on my information, it takes an excessively long time.
You Need To Invest In Technology
To start taking jobs from the Arise database, you must first invest in technology and equipment.
This additional cost is not a major concern.
Arise Charge Recurring Fee To Keep Access To Jobs
Arise will charge a recurring fee to maintain access to the database, which is another aspect of this platform that I dislike.
While I understand the necessity of charging for their services, it’s just another expense to add to the tally.
Arise Work From Home Is Not As Flexible As It Seems
Although working from home may seem like a great idea, there is a certain degree of inflexibility associated with it.
Jobs available through Arise, as mentioned earlier in my review, typically require working specific hours, meaning you have to adhere to someone else’s schedule.
Only For US, UK, and Canada Residents
The opportunity is currently limited to the US, the UK, and Canada. However, it would be beneficial to expand access to the platform for other countries.
I’m certain that companies and individuals in the EU, Africa, Asia, and Australia would also appreciate the ability to work from home.
It Could Be Highly Competitive To Get The Best Jobs
One drawback of Arise is the need to compete with other members and workers for available jobs. In other words, this opportunity falls short of providing complete work-from-home freedom.
Arise Work From Home Review – Conclusion
If you’re looking to set up a long-term home-based business and commit to it, then Arise could be something to consider. However, if you’re not ready to invest a lot of time, effort, and money, then this might not be the best way for you to go.
I consider Arise to be a legitimate business opportunity. It’s not a scam. But I also feel obliged to say that it’s not for everyone. Only serious people should be considering this business. I don’t like the idea.
Why? Well, I don’t like to work on someone else’s schedule. I don’t want to compete for jobs. I don’t see too much difference between these jobs and real-life jobs.
I’m more of a total freedom kind of guy. How about you?
The bottom line is, if you like the idea of working in customer service from home, you’re in good hands with Arise. Thanks for reading my Arise Work From Home review!
