  1. Hi Ivan, I am having a bit of trouble with my Logo image size now, the first image uploaded to the correct size and then I re redesigned it and then re uploaded it but now the image comes out tiny on my webpage, its a 350 x 70 px so, i tried to re upload the original image but now that turns out tiny too, I have tried everything and just cant figure it out so, I have opened a ticket with A2 and hopefully they can help me.

    • I was just about to tell you how to resize the logo through the WordPress Appearance feature, but I see you have got it all by yourself. Great stuff 🙂

  2. Hi Ivan, what about protecting your logo, do you suggest looking into doing a copyright registration on a logo, even though the skeleton image was used from Canva’s website.
I have put some time into creating and evolving my logo and was wondering can someone else take part of your logo and use it if it isn’t copyright protected.

    • Hey Paul, that’s a good question. To be honest, I’ve never actually encountered any affiliate site owner who has copyrighted their logo. But I’m sure big brands like Amazon, Nike, or Apple do it. So if you want to learn more about the topic and how to copyright your logo, you can check out this article.

  3. Ivan,
on the Canva website after creating logo, my logo shows 500 x 500 PX when I am going to download so, do I need to re size it to 350 x 750 PX before downloading it to A2 hosting account and if so then when I do resize it using the Resize icon in Canva, why doesnt it re size my logo to the 350 PX x 750 PX after I set those parameters and lock it before downloading it.

    • Hey Paul H, you can’t use Canva resize option on the free plan. You need to be a Premium user.

However, I advise you to start over by visiting the Canva home page, then clicking on the Create design button in the top right corner.

Then, in the drop-down menu click on the little plus icon in the bottom left corner that says Custom size. Enter 350px x 75x (not 750x) and then click on the Create new design button to create your logo using the right sizing.

This should fix your issue. Then, simply upload your logo to your website by following the instructions from this lesson. Let me know how it goes.

By the way, did you finish the domain and hosting setup already?

      • Thanks Ivan
I did find that and thank you and as for the domain and hosting set up, because I am in Australia the conversion of dollar cost from U.S dollars to Aus dollars of the hosting set up and my domain registration is $103 Aus and normally that wouldn’t be a problem but, unfortunately I have to wait until this Thursday 2nd to pay for Host and domain fee as, work has been so slow for me at the moment that I am really struggling but, will be able to scrape that $103 dollars so, I can finally move forward, as I have my Niche, my name and have created my logo so, just need to pay those fees.

      • Thanks Ivan, I actually had to change it from 350px X 70px to 350px X 750px and that actually sorted it out and then I changed the visual size of the image, in the site Identity section using the picture sliding tool and yes I sure did I am registered with A2 and my Domain name has been registered too so, I am stoked mate

        • I was going to suggest keeping the 350px X 70px because it looks much better than X 750px, which is too large in my opinion. Then the next suggestion would be to go to WordPress–>Appearance–>Identity–> and simply manually type in the width of your logo (350px) into an empty field shown in the left-hand menu inside the Appearance.

By the way, congratulations on registering your domain! That’s a HUGE step forward. Keep on taking action and let me know if you need any help!

          Cheers,
          Ivan

    • Hey Kathi, you are seeing this because your SSL certificate is not yet active. Don’t worry, SSL activates automatically after you register your domain. But it takes up to 24 for SSL to activate automatically.

If you are still seeing this message 24 hours after registration, you should contact the A2 support team and check if everything is ok, although I’m sure this will be solved on its own. That’s just how the system works.

You can log into your A2 client area, click on cPanel, and then scroll until you see the Security field. Then, click on SSL/TSL Status, select all versions of your domain and click on the Run AutoSSL button to speed up the process in case SSL is not active yet!

      Cheers,
      Ivan

  8. Hi Ivan,
I’ve set up my domain but when I go through the steps in the above video and go into softaculous and then wordpress A2 optimised, my domain is not at the bottom of the screen where you go to log in as an administrator ?
There is nothing there. Am I after missing a step or does it take a few days to be picked up?

    Thanks,
    Liz

    • Hey Liz, your domain should be there if you indeed installed WordPress A2 Optimized. Maybe you installed a different software (not WordPress A2 Optimized) by accident. Go to WordPress Manager By Softaculous and click on Blogs. Click on WordPress (the first item) and see if your website is there. If it’s not there either, then you have probably missed a step while installing the site. You will have to contact A2 Support and ask them to help you find it.

Let me know how it went!

    • Hey Deniz, I just tried logging into my website using the admin icon and it works fine. What browser are you using? I’m on Chrome. Maybe cleaning your cache folder might help. If it persists in not working, contact the A2 support team and they will help you out!

Secondly I have question I decided to make my niche about perfumes and Beauty as someone obsessed about Beauty stuff do you think it’s going to work ?

    • Hey Siddiq, you’re welcome. Glad you like the training!

Parfumes and beauty are a good niche to start with. Just remember to narrow it down to a specific micro-niche as shown in Lesson 2. In other words, pick on product category, and start with that. Once you review all the good products in this category, you can scale with more beauty-related products using the same blueprint.

    • Hey Michael,

On the same page where you are seeing this, click on the little box to check all your properties and then click on the Run AutoSSL button. This should activate the SSL certification on all your properties in a matter of minutes.

Let me know how it went.

  11. Hey, Ivan,

My SSL is not working. It looks a little bit different from ulyours. Would you mind helping me out? You can send me a zoom link.

    • Hey Sandy, I don’t see your website on my list within the A2 Hosting dashboard. Did you get your domain through this training or some other? Because, if you have followed the instructions from my videos and acquired your domain and hosting with A2, SSL should be automatically activated.
