Is Crowd1 a Scam?
A scam is a deceptive scheme or trick that cheats someone out of something, usually money, regardless of receiving anything in return.
In my opinion, Crowd1 is a scam. My research indicates that the company exhibits characteristics of a dishonest operation that primarily benefits those in leadership positions.

During my investigation, I came across an article from NamibiaFactCheck.org that also openly identifies Crowd1 as a scam. Furthermore, the entire operation has been banned in Namibia.
The reason is that the people behind the scheme have created a classic Ponzi, where they take as much money as they can and then close the company.
This hasn’t happened yet, but it is just a matter of time before it does…

What Is Crowd1?
To provide you with accurate information about Crowd1, I’ve conducted extensive research and gathered a variety of opinions. Some claim that Crowd1 is a pyramid scheme, while others consider it a great opportunity for network marketing.
Here’s what the official website states:
Crowd1 is an established online networking and marketing company that aims to provide members worldwide with unique opportunities in the gig economy, quality education, and international networking, and contribute to achieving better digital equality in the world.
As you can see, the company focuses on network marketing, education, and online revenue generation. I was pleasantly surprised by their impressive self-marketing.
Who Owns Crowd1?
Crowd1 was founded by Jonas Eric Werner, a Swedish entrepreneur.
However, he is not the sole operator of this scheme. If you have watched their videos, you may have come across a few more individuals.
One of these individuals is Johan Staël von Holstein, Jonas’s business partner, who has a significant background in the MLM industry. Recently, there have been accusations that Crowd1 operates as a pyramid scheme.
I cannot verify the truthfulness of those claims, but I can confirm the existence of the people involved in the scheme. They have an online presence and confidently support their work.
Interestingly, both individuals are also associated with Impact Crowd Technology, a platform that appears to operate similarly to the reviewed company.
How Does Crowd1 Work?
Crowd1 is an advertising and marketing business based in the UAE that offers people worldwide the opportunity to earn money online through network marketing.
To get started, you need to purchase one of the bundles. The cheapest option is 99 euros (I’ll reveal these soon in my Crowd1 review).
Once you’ve made your purchase, your goal is to encourage others to buy these packages to earn money.
These packages include access to a social gaming platform called Miggster, audio programs for personal and professional development called Mindoe, better deals for hotel reservations with LifeTRNDS, a strategy game called Planet IX, loyalty points, and a digital business card.
To start promoting these packages, there are three steps you need to take…
How To Make Money With Crowd1?
Step 1. – Join Via Private Invitation
To join Crowd1, you need a private invitation, which requires someone to refer you to the platform. This is typically done through WhatsApp or email, depending on whether you shared your phone number or email with an affiliate.
Once referred, you will receive a special link to access a signup page. There, you’ll be prompted to provide your name, email address, physical address, and other required information.
During the sign-up process, you will be asked to provide your sponsor’s username. This allows them to receive compensation when you decide to upgrade to a paid membership.
Step 2. – Watch A Series Of Webinars
Before becoming a paid member, you will need to watch a series of webinars.
These webinars are designed to highlight the benefits of Crowd1 – claiming it as the best platform for making money online and connecting with like-minded individuals.
This marketing tactic, known for its effectiveness in building trust and increasing conversion rates, aims to provide you with the necessary knowledge before purchasing a paid membership and beginning your promotional activities.
Step 3. – Purchase Packages and Start Promoting
Most people consider Crowd1 a pyramid scheme for the following reasons: Before joining the platform, you must purchase one of the memberships.
Here is a breakdown of the available packages:
- White Level – 99 Euros
- Black Level – 299 Euros
- Gold Level – 799 Euros
- Titanium Level – 2499 Euros
The main concept of this pyramid scheme is similar to others. It involves purchasing progressively more expensive memberships while promoting the same products to others.
Essentially, you are buying a range of products, including training videos, motivational materials, and access to a community, with each membership. This gives the illusion of receiving value in return.
However, in my opinion, this is just a disguise to conceal the pyramid scheme.
What Is Crowd1 Compensation Plan?
This section of the review will cover the compensation plan and provide information on how to make money with the Crowd1 opportunity.
Getting Started
To get started with Crowd1 and qualify for commissions, the first step is to join one of the investment levels. Here’s a breakdown of each level along with the number of shares it offers:
- White Level – This level will require an investment of 99 Euros. You will receive 100 Euros worth of owner-rights shares
- Black Level – This level will require an investment of 299 Euros. You will receive 300 Euros worth of owner-rights shares
- Gold Level – This level will require an investment of 799 Euros. You will receive 1000 Euros worth of owner-rights shares
- Titanium Level – This level will require an investment of 2499 Euros. You will receive 3500 Euros worth of owner rights shares
Residual Commissions (Binary Pay)
Crowd1 offers residual income through its compensation plan. The company utilizes a binary structure to pay out these commissions.
In terms of how the Crowd1 compensation plan operates, you need a 1 to 3 ratio using the point structure.
Here is a breakdown of the points you can earn at each level when new members or team members join:
- White Level – When you or your downline team members sponsor someone at this level, 90 points will go toward the leg that the member falls in your binary compensation plan.
- Black Level – When you or your downline team members sponsor someone at this level, 270 points will go toward the leg that the member falls in your binary compensation plan.
- Gold Level – When you or your downline team members sponsor someone at this level, 720 points will go toward the leg that the member falls in your binary compensation plan.
- Titanium Level – When you or your downline team members sponsor someone at this level, 2250 points will go toward the leg that the member falls in your binary compensation plan.
You will earn a commission payout once you meet a calculation of a 1 to 3 ratio of points on both legs.
Matching Bonus (Unilevel Pay)
Crowd1 offers a matching commissions bonus that is paid out from your team members’ residual commissions, using the uni-level compensation plan model.
There are 5 levels on which you can earn the matching bonus.
Here is a breakdown of the matching bonus commissions you can earn on each level, along with the qualifications needed to get paid from all 5 levels.
- White Level – To qualify for commissions at this level, you will need to recruit 4 investing members. You will earn a 10% match from all members on this level only.
- Black Level – To qualify for commissions at this level, you will need to recruit 8 investing members. You will earn a 10% match for all members on levels 1 and 2. When you recruit 12 investing members, you will earn a match pay of 10% on levels, 1, 2, and 3.
- Gold Level – To qualify for commissions at this level, you will need to recruit 16 investing members. You will earn a 10% match from all members on levels 1, 2, 3, and 4.
- Titanium Level – To qualify for commissions at this level, you will need to recruit 20 investing members. You will earn a 10% match from all members on levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Streamline Bonus
The Streamline Bonus is structured as a one-line compensation plan based on company-wide sponsorships or recruitments of all members.
Here is a breakdown of the number of “Streamline levels” you will earn based on the level of investment you choose when joining the company:
- White Level – When you join at this level you will earn 3 Streamline levels.
- Black Level – When you join at this level you will earn 8 Streamline levels.
- Gold Level – When you join at this level you will earn 12 Streamline levels.
- Titanium Level – When you join at this level you will earn 15 Streamline levels.
Fear Of Loss Bonus Commissions
Crowd1 offers bonus commissions to affiliate members who sponsor a specific number of investing members within 14 days. This bonus is known as the “Fear of Loss” bonus.
Here is the breakdown of your earnings for the first 14 days with this bonus:
- When you recruit 4 White Level affiliate members you will earn 125 EUR.
- When you recruit 4 Black Level affiliate members you will earn 375 EUR.
- When you recruit 4 Gold Level affiliate members you will earn 1000 EUR.
- When you recruit 4 Titanium Level affiliate members you will earn 3000 EUR.
I am not sure if you have to be invested in the higher levels to earn the bonuses, or if you can earn them just from the level you invested in.
Gambling Residual Commissions
This bonus is the commission that you make from the company-wide gambling profit. When you are at the Team Leader Rank, these commissions will start at 5%. At the Director level, you will earn 10% of these profits.

Can You Make Money With Crowd1?
Crowd1 lacks earnings disclosure declarations, which is a common characteristic of many pyramid schemes. However, in this Crowd1 review, I will explain why the business model they operate is completely unsustainable.
Technically speaking, it is possible to make money from Crowd1.
If you recruit a large number of people into the company and convince them that it is the best opportunity out there (essentially scamming them), you will be able to make money.
But here’s the issue… The only way to make money with Crowd1 is by inviting others to join Crowd1!
While network marketing participants can potentially earn commissions from selling products, there are no real products or services available for people to purchase without joining Crowd1.
You might find it unusual to see a marketing company operating without any actual products to sell.
This is why they are often labelled as a pyramid scheme…

Is Crowd1 a Pyramid Scheme?
According to Investopedia, a pyramid scheme is a fraudulent operation that directs earnings from lower-level participants to the top.
Now, let’s examine the Crowd1 compensation plan below. It exhibits all the characteristics of a pyramid scheme.
Moreover, Crowd1 has faced allegations of being a pyramid scheme from multiple sources online. Ultimately, it falls upon the authorities to scrutinize the company’s operations and determine its true nature.
In my perspective, it appears to be just that.
The Crowd1 platform does not offer any genuine products or services. Essentially, its purpose revolves around recruiting individuals, having them purchase memberships, and incentivizing them to recruit others in exchange for commissions.
Crowd1 Online Reviews
After analyzing several public Crowd1 reviews, it is evident that this platform cannot be trusted. It poses risks and has the potential to consume significant amounts of time and money.
Remarkably, over 1/3 of customer reviews label it as a scam. It is essential to examine some of these complaints and reviews.
Even if you ask Google, “Is Crowd1 a scam?” the majority of the articles will confirm it’s a scam. So, whatever I say in this review doesn’t matter because the world has already spoken.
Think about it, if it was a legitimate opportunity, there wouldn’t be so many red flags and negative reviews.
Crowd1 Review – Conclusion
In conclusion, I strongly advise against using the Crowd1 platform.
While it may initially appear attractive, it is not a reliable option. Pyramid schemes like this predominantly benefit those at the top, leaving the majority of participants without any return on their investment.
Additionally, Crowd1 lacks the necessary educational resources for starting a legitimate online business, which is why I do not recommend it.
I believe in promoting education and empowering individuals, but sadly, this company does not align with those values.
