What is Global Domains International?

Global Domains International, found at the website.ws, is a website hosting service and also offers a multi-level marketing business opportunity.

In simple terms, Global Domains International allows you to purchase domains (although I don’t recommend doing this, which I will explain later in this review).

Alternatively, you can join their MLM scheme, where you become a promoter for the company and earn income from your sales (which I also do not recommend).

The website was created by Michael Starr and Alan Ezeir, and they provide domain and website hosting services to their clients.

The website was founded in 1999, with its main focus being to generate revenue by encouraging others to sign up for the service.

In addition to web hosting and domain registration services, they also offer email forwarding and site builder tools.

Oddly enough, I discovered that Global Domains International only registers .ws domains, not .com, .net, or .org. But what does .ws mean? It stands for Western Samoa.

Although this was a strange fact to learn, I have yet to find any signs of a scam.

Do Global Domains Internation Offer Refunds?

According to the official refund policy page, no refunds are given.

At the time of registration, Registrant must indicate an initial registration period of two (2) to ten (10) years, which is renewable thereafter for successive periods of one (1) to ten (10) years and includes any permitted modification(s) to the domain name record during the covered period. All fees for each period of registration and renewal of registration are payable in full prior to domain activation. Fees are due immediately and are non-refundable.

How To Make Money With Global Domains International?

If you’re interested in making money with GDI, you can recommend their service to others and get paid a commission for each new customer.

As a member, you will have access to the following services:

Global Domains International has a strong focus on multi-level marketing. In other words, when you join, they will recruit you to promote the company using their tools.

This means that you have the potential to earn money with Global Domains International as an affiliate or distributor.

They will pay you a fee for each person you bring to the platform, and this fee will continue as long as the person remains a member of GDI.

I was personally referred to this platform by Justin James, which means that Justin will earn money if I decide to join.

However, I have reservations about buying any product from Global Domains International. The design of their domains looks outdated and unattractive. Moreover, I have doubts about the quality of their service.

I understand that a high-quality hosting and domain provider is crucial for success in search engines. It’s uncertain how good GDI’s hosting truly is.

In any case, this is how the program works. Let’s move on to the next section of my review, where I will delve into the compensation plan in more detail.

What Is Global Domains International Compensation Plan?

The GDI structure is built on a 5-tier MLM system which offers the potential for substantial income. By assembling a large team of affiliates, you can earn a 10% commission on revenue generated from each layer, up to 5 generations.

There are no limits on the number of “front line” (Layer 1) affiliates you can have, meaning there’s no cap on your potential income.

In the above illustration, by introducing just five affiliates and having each of them do the same, a network of 3905 affiliates can be built.

When any of these affiliates make a sale or spend money on a Global Domains International service, you will receive 10% of each transaction, whether it is monthly or annual. This ultimately leads to long-term residual income for you.

Bonuses:

  • $100 BONUSES – You can earn an unlimited number of $100 bonuses each week by simply referring five new confirmed affiliates in a 7-day contest period.
  • $5000 HEAVY HITTER BONUS – Any affiliate referring 1,000 or more paid affiliates in any consecutive four-week period is eligible to receive the Heavy Hitter Bonus. If you can refer 1,000 new affiliates in a month you’ll be taking home an extra $5,000.

Is Global Domain International a Scam?

Alright, it’s time for the big question: is GDI a scam or legit? My answer is clear – it’s not a scam. Global Domains International is a genuine domain and hosting service that offers an affiliate program.

With over 20 years in business, the company’s track record speaks for itself.

Now, you may have stumbled upon some dubious websites that solely emphasize the income potential and appear outdated. If you found yourself thinking that GDI is a scam, I don’t blame you – I had those same initial doubts.

However, as it turns out, GDI is safe and there are no signs of deceit.

Is GDI A Pyramid Scheme?

Global Domains International is not a pyramid scheme.

While they do have an MLM-based compensation plan that bears some resemblance to a pyramid scheme due to multi-layered payouts, the company offers legitimate tools and hosting services as part of the plan.

It is important to note, though, that I am not endorsing or promoting this opportunity.

Is Global Domains International BBB Accredited?

Global Domains International is listed on the Better Business Bureau, although it has not yet been accredited. This, however, does not indicate that it is a scam.

It is encouraging that they are included on the BBB and hold an impressive A+ rating. Over the past years, they have received very few complaints, with most concerns about refund processes.

I have observed many individuals embracing business opportunities, such as Global Domains International, with high hopes. However, success stories from such endeavours are scarce.

Furthermore, these schemes are not the optimal approach for generating income online. With MLMs like GDI, you become confined within their program, leaving little room for flexibility.

That is why I don’t recommend opportunities such as Global Domain International to my readers.

Global Domains International Offers Legit Hosting Services

Some MLM companies try to mask their pyramid scheme practices by introducing valueless digital products to their platform, in an attempt to avoid accusations.

However, Global Domains International offers a wide range of useful services.

So, even if you’re not interested in promoting the company, you can still benefit from their domain name registration, hosting services, email service, and more.

Domain and Hosting Niche is Profitable

The number of new domains and websites is rapidly increasing every day. Currently, there are billions of active sites, with new ones emerging regularly. Consequently, this niche is highly profitable.

Lucrative Affiliate Program 

With GDI’s affiliate program, you have the opportunity to earn income from five referral levels, which I find incredibly generous.

By taking this MLM opportunity seriously, you can generate a substantial amount of income.

What I Don’t Like About Global Domains International

  • .ws Websites are Not That Popular
  • It May Take Ages to Recruit Enough People
  • Domain and Hosting Niche is Highly Competitive
  • Official Website Looks Old and Outdated

At first glance, when I came across a .ws domain, my immediate thought was, “This must be some scam.” As a result, many people may also be sceptical. The majority of websites prioritize .com or .net domains.

These extensions are trusted due to their popularity, unlike .ws which lacks the same level of recognition.

It May Take Ages to Recruit Enough People

I’m not a fan of MLMs like Global Domains International because they require a significant amount of time and effort to recruit enough people for your team.

For the average individual, it may take up to 2 or 3 years to attract sufficient customers and generate substantial income.

Domain and Hosting Niche is Highly Competitive

In the pros section of my review, I’ve mentioned that the domain and hosting niche is profitable.

However, due to the high profitability, you will find that this niche is saturated with competition, including affiliate competitors and various products.

Therefore, to succeed, it is crucial to develop excellent marketing skills to promote your work effectively.

Global Domains International Looks Old and Outdated

Attracting new customers to Global Domains International can be quite challenging.

One of the main reasons is that the official website appears outdated, giving off an unprofessional impression upon the first visit. I initially believed GDI was a scam due to the poor user experience.

Global Domains International Review – Conclusion

In conclusion in this Global Domains International review, I’d like to share some personal thoughts about GDI as a business opportunity, separate from its hosting and domain service provision.

You see, this type of MLM can indeed be very profitable.

However, it requires highly skilled marketers who can quickly generate thousands of leads. Otherwise, you may find yourself struggling to figure things out on your own and waiting for those substantial commissions that may never materialize.
