I Want To Know…

About the Reviewer

Hey, I’m Ivan Brozincevic!

Since 2018, I’ve been making a full-time income online, which allowed me to quit my old job (about me).

In the beginning, I struggled to identify legit courses and avoid ones that were just out for my money.

That’s why I created this website – my main goal is to help you steer clear of pitfalls and discover the top online business courses.

Every week, I invest hours in reviewing online courses and writing reviews based on my fact-driven review guidelines to assist you in making an informed choice.

Is Lead Lightning Legit or a Scam?

Lead Lightning is a legitimate opportunity for online entrepreneurs to generate leads and potential customers through its lead capture pages and email templates.

Although there are optional upsells available to further increase your commission, the initial $7 price grants access to a few valuable resources and is in no way a scam.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that it is 100% recommended just because it’s not a scam.

There are some things that I don’t like about Lead Lightning such as numerous upsells, hidden MLM nature, outdated lead generation system and much more.

I’ll reveal more details in my Lead Lightning review so make sure to keep on reading!

What Is Lead Lightning?

Simply put, Lead Lightning is a sales funnel that helps you build your buyer list and earn a commission “immediately.”

Lead Lightning Review - Scam or Legit?

But it’s more than just that.

Lead Lightning is a product of the Power Lead System and it provides video training, tutorials, and access to a Facebook group where members can connect and learn from each other.

Once you sign up, you have the option to promote Lead Lightning or your own main product alongside it (more about this soon in my review).

Additionally, you’ll get access to landing pages, email sequences, and a contact management platform that will allow you to track traffic, send out email campaigns, and follow up with your customers.

All in all, they aim to help beginners make easy commissions without any previous skills or online marketing experience.

Who Is Behind Lead Lightning?

It’s a bit of a tricky question to answer definitively, as the sales funnel for Lead Lightning doesn’t explicitly state its creator.

However, if you dig a bit deeper, you’ll discover that Lead Lightning is actually an offering from the Power Lead System, which was indeed founded and is currently owned by two individuals: Neil Guess and Michael Price.

Lead Lightning Founders

About Neil Guess

Let’s start with Neil. He’s an experienced internet marketer who hails from Washington state. Neil was one of the co-founders of Power Lead System and has been with the company since its inception.

But how did he get started in the world of online marketing?

Well, prior to PLS, Neil was a Solavei affiliate. Solavei was a multi-level marketing company that focused on mobile phone services.

About Michael Price

As for Michael, he’s also a co-owner of Power Lead System. In fact, before he got into internet marketing, Michael was a sales rep in the corporate world.

He was even awarded the title of Sales Rep of the Year at a Fortune 100 Company – not too shabby!

In addition to his work with Power Lead System, he’s also the founder of PricelessPossibilities.com and the Priceless Possibilities Marketing Platform.

What I like is that these guys have a wealth of experience in both Internet marketing and traditional sales. But I’m not a big fan of their Lead Lightning system…

How Does Lead Lightning Work?

So, how exactly does Lead Lightning work? Well, let’s break it down.

First and foremost, Lead Lightning is all about lead generation. This means finding potential customers who are interested in buying the products or services that you’re offering.

To do this, you’ll need to know where to look online for these leads.

Once you’ve found leads, you’ll need to send them offers. This is where Lead Lightning comes in.

The program will teach you how to create effective landing pages that will entice people to buy whatever it is that you’re selling.

Now, for every sale that is made through your offers, you’ll earn a commission. This can be a great way to make money online, especially if you’re good at finding leads and creating compelling offers.

How Does LL Help You Make Money?

As mentioned earlier in this review, the program is primarily focused on teaching you how to promote Lead Lightning itself. MLM anyone?

This is because Lead Lightning is really just a “tripwire product” for a larger program called Power Lead System.

Lead Lightning funnel to Power Lead System

In other words, Lead Lightning is designed to be an inexpensive entry point into the Power Lead System sales funnel.

Once you’ve signed up for Lead Lightning, you’ll be encouraged to upgrade to the full Power Lead System program ($30 a month), which offers more advanced training and tools.

Are Lead Lightning Users Seeing Success?

According to the official Lead Lightning sales page, people are getting results.

However, it’s easy to get swept up in the hype of flashy screenshots and exciting testimonials, but it’s important to take a closer look and see if there’s any substance behind the marketing.

That being said, some users do claim to have seen success with Lead Lightning. They report an increase in traffic, more opt-ins to their email list, and even sales.

Here are some examples:

Lead Lightning Testimonials

And then, there are these video testimonials, which are not quite convincing either, except the one in the top left corner where a person shows his Gmail inbox with all commissions that he earned promoting Lead Lightning:

Lead Lightning Reviews

Of course, it’s impossible to verify every single testimonial, and some may be exaggerating or outright lying.

It’s also worth noting that success with Lead Lightning is by no means guaranteed. It’s a competitive world out there, and no marketing system can guarantee results every time.

Who Is Lead Lightning Best For?

As mentioned before in my review, the Lead Lightning platform seems to cater more towards newbie marketers who are just starting out in the online business world.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that experienced marketers should necessarily steer clear.

If you are into systems like this, and you have access to a large email list or some other instant source of traffic, you could easily make some instant commissions promoting LL.

Furthermore, Lead Lightning has been linked to multi-level marketing, which may sit well with those who prefer to get involved in such schemes.

How Much Does Lead Lightning Cost?

The listed price for the Lead Lightning system is a mere $7, which is a pretty sweet deal when you consider what you’re getting.

But, there’s more…

Once you become a member of Lead Lightning, you’re eligible to earn $6 in commission for every person you refer to the program.

That means, if you’re savvy enough to recruit a few people to join, you could potentially make back your investment and then some.

But it’s hard to get rich from a $6 commission, right?

Of course, if you want to make even more money, you’ll need to invest in some of the upsells that are offered within the program.

If you do that, you’ll be eligible to earn commissions when your referrals upgrade as well.

Hidden Upsells

Here is the list of upsells:

  • Free Lead System Forever: The main aim is to build your list of leads for any purpose or business. No commissions.
  • Lead Lightning: A Done-For-You system with a basic but complete sales funnel to upsell more products. One-time $7 cost with commissions of 85% up to $526.
  • Silver: An upgrade from Lead Lightning. Provides access to amazing training and courses to learn effective marketing strategies. Costs $29.97 per month with a residual commission of $15 per month.
  • Gold: This is the centrepiece of PLS. It offers the most comprehensive marketing system on the internet and serves as a centre hub to market as many businesses as you want. It also has an awesome leveraged commission system. Costs $30 per month for the system and an additional $23.97 for the affiliate program. Includes all the above products.
  • Customer: Similar to Gold but without the affiliate program, designed for those who simply want to use the system for any business or even for clients. Costs $30 per month.
  • Diamond: Exclusive for Gold members. It’s a course to learn about solos and co-ops that can generate thousands of dollars without spending a dime. Costs a one-time fee of $147 with commissions of $100 and overrides of $25.
  • Platinum: Also exclusive for Gold members. It’s the most comprehensive Facebook marketing course available, offering a vast video library of case studies. Costs a one-time fee of $497 with commissions of $400 and overrides of $50.

In my opinion, these upsells are necessary if you want to make money with the Lead Lightning system.

The $7 program gives you access to the tools, but they never teach you how to drive traffic (the lifeblood of your business) until you purchase the Diamond package.

In other words, these extra features can help you increase your earnings potential by giving you access to more tools and resources.

So unless you are an advanced marketer from the previous heading, prepare to invest a lot more after you pass the initial $7 checkout.

This is something that they don’t tell you upfront, and it bothers me a lot.

Can You Get a Refund?

Yes, Lead Lightning does offer refunds with their 7-day money-back guarantee. This means that if you are not satisfied with the product, you can request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

It’s important to note that Lead Lightning’s refund policy only covers the purchase price of the product and does not include any additional fees or expenses.

To request a refund, you can reach out to their customer support team and they will guide you through the process.

What Is Inside Lead Lightning?

As mentioned earlier in my Lead Lightning review, the program offers a variety of materials and support to help you increase your sales and generate leads.

Here is a sneak-a-peak into the members’ area:

Lead Lightning Review of the Members' Area

And here is what you will get inside:

  • First up, this marketing system promises to provide you with ready-to-go sales funnels, which sounds pretty great, right? Unfortunately, the reality is that most of these funnels are outdated and no longer effective.
  • Next, Lead Lightning boasts about its done-for-you autoresponder campaigns. Again, while this might sound appealing, the campaigns that come with this system are unlikely to yield the results you want.
  • There’s also a contact management system included in Lead Lightning, but it’s not exactly cutting-edge or innovative. In fact, there are much better systems available on the market if you’re serious about managing your contacts and leads.
  • As for additional marketing help, there are some resources provided with this system, but they’re largely outdated and obsolete. You may be better off doing your own research and staying up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and techniques.
  • The eWallet feature is a nice touch, as it allows you to easily manage your commissions and payments. However, it’s not exactly a groundbreaking innovation in the world of marketing systems.
  • One of the main selling points of Lead Lightning is that it’s beginner-friendly. And while it’s true that this system is relatively easy to use, it’s important to note that it’s unlikely to lead to significant success in the long run.
  • The “business in a box” claim is also a bit misleading. While Lead Lightning provides you with some tools and resources, it’s not a complete solution for building a successful business.
  • The traffic training offered by Lead Lightning is another area where this system falls short. The methods and strategies taught are largely outdated and unlikely to result in significant traffic to your website or sales funnel.
  • Commission tracking is a nice feature, but it’s not exactly unique to Lead Lightning. There are plenty of other marketing systems and tools that provide commission-tracking capabilities.
  • Finally, Lead Lightning touts its ability to generate instant $6.00 commissions. While this may be true, the reality is that it’s unlikely to result in significant earnings over the long term.

Overall, while Lead Lightning may seem like a promising marketing system, in my opinion, most of its content and claims are outdated and unlikely to yield significant results.

Lead Lightning: Pros

  • Affordable entry price
  • High commission rate
  • Some users posted results

Lead Lightning: Cons

  • It’s a funnel to the Power Lead System
  • Vast amount of hidden upsells
  • Strong MLM vibes
  • Outdated training material
  • Incomplete basic training
  • No major success stories
  • Overhyped sales material
  • Short refund window

Verdict – Lead Lightning Review

After spending some time with Lead Lightning – the supposedly “revolutionary system” that promises quick riches with minimum effort – I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not recommended.

Here’s why I don’t recommend it:

Although there are some alleged success stories, the majority of people who purchase this product are left feeling disillusioned, scammed and deeply disappointed by the dismal results they get.

Why is that, you ask?

Well, for starters, Lead Lightning employs highly questionable marketing tactics.

They bombard you with upsell after upsell, promising that each new component will provide the missing piece you need to become a successful online entrepreneur.

But let’s be real here – there is no magic formula that can undeniably guarantee success.

The “get rich quick” scheme is a myth, and any ‘system’ that promises you overnight success with minimal work is lying to you.

All in all, although it is not an outright scam, and there is the possibility of earning income here, I’d still say avoid Lead Lightning. Don’t waste your hard-earned money on this product.

Instead, focus on building a sustainable business with proven strategies, based on hard work, dedication and a long-term vision for success.
