Is Cowboy Wealth a Scam?

Technically, Cowboy Wealth is not a scam. The offer is legitimate because it promotes a real company and provides an opportunity to start your own MLM business by selling Melaleuca products.

However, I can see both sides of the argument. On one hand, some may argue that Cowboy Wealth is a scam because…

Well, first of all, the complete lack of transparency about the business opportunity is one of the main reasons why this could be a scam. Instead of being honest about it, Chris and Cathy Sorensen (the owners) treat you like a fool.

Secondly, Cowboy Wealth is not a legitimate program, scheme, or company. It is merely a funnel created to persuade you to sign up for Melaleuca MLM, allowing Chris and Cathy to earn commissions.

Thirdly, unrealistic income claims are shared to deceive you into thinking that joining this scheme will effortlessly transform your life. Now, don’t get me wrong, some individuals do make money with MLM. However, the majority of them do not earn a dime!

On the other hand, there is a legitimate reason why Cowboy Wealth is considered legit.

You see, Melaleuca is a reputable company that has been selling health and wellness products for over 30 years. They have a well-established sales system in place, offering genuine products.

If they were not legitimate, they would not have stayed active for this long.

However, in my opinion, it’s best to leave this one alone. Cowboy Wealth is much more likely to be labelled as a scam rather than a legitimate MLM business opportunity.

Keep on reading my Cowboy Wealth in-depth review before making your own decision.

What Is Cowboy Wealth?

Cowboy Wealth is quite ambiguous in terms of its purpose. Typically, unclear situations like this tend to be associated with scams.

The official website lacks any substantial information regarding the opportunity. It merely mentions that Cowboy Wealth provides solutions to enhance various aspects of life, such as health, wealth, environment, and personal development.

Moreover, the company claims to offer a different approach for individuals to reach their personal and financial goals through the eCommerce/online shopping revolution.

However, there are no clear indications of how this company operates or the specific tasks required to earn money online. As a result, doubts about Cowboy Wealth being a scam arise immediately.

After conducting further research, reading various Cowboy Wealth reviews, and browsing the internet for additional information, I stumbled upon a short 11-second YouTube video.

The video fails to disclose the details of this scheme. It only mentions the ability to work from home and achieve prosperity. Supposedly, participants can earn anywhere between $500 to $25,000 per month with this program.

To join, you must either call the provided number and listen to a brief two-minute presentation, or register your information on the official website and await a callback. However, the nature of this scheme remains unclear. Why is the information being concealed? Are there potential legal issues? Is Cowboy Wealth potentially a scam?

During my research, I discovered that it serves as a gateway to an MLM scheme known as Melaleuca.

What Is Melaleuca?

Melaleuca, a legitimate health and wellness company, was founded in 1985. They offer more than 400 products on their website, including a wide range of options. In contrast, Cowboy Wealth is not a legitimate company.

  • nutrition
  • personal care
  • home cleaning
  • cosmetics

Melaleuca is essentially a multi-level marketing (MLM) company that allows anyone to join and sell their products. Moreover, you can earn an additional source of income by referring people to the company and assisting them in joining.

Cowboy Wealth Melaleuca

If you’re familiar with companies like Herbalife and others, then you probably have an idea of what Melaleuca is and how it operates.

In this case, Cowboy Wealth serves as a pathway to Melaleuca.

Essentially, Cowboy Wealth is a platform created by someone affiliated with Melaleuca to attract new recruits and earn commissions from them.

Now, the question arises – is this a legitimate scheme or is Cowboy Wealth actually a scam? To find out, let’s first understand how it works, shall we?

How Does Cowboy Wealth Work?

Earlier in the review, I mentioned Cowboy Wealth and their claims to improve various aspects of life, such as health, wealth, environment, and personal development.

However, I noticed that the same statement can be found on the Melaleuca website.

This suggests that Cowboy Wealth might not be an independent company, but rather a platform meant to redirect users to Melaleuca, where they can access products and sales systems.

There are two ways to earn money with Melaleuca, and it appears that Cowboy Wealth is utilizing the second method.

Start Your Own Melaleuca Business

You have the opportunity to join the scheme and start your own business where you sell and promote the company’s products. As mentioned before, it’s similar to Herbalife and other similar schemes.

Cowboy Wealth Products

Become a Product Advocate (Affiliate)

By joining the scheme, you will have access to your account. From there, you can learn how to promote Melaluca products through affiliate marketing and earn commissions via a compensation plan.

Cowboy Wealth Product Advocates

Cowboy Wealth generates income through an affiliate funnel. If you choose to participate in this scheme, you’ll have two options for making money.

Both options are legitimate ways to earn income. However, the question remains…

Is Cowboy Wealth a Pyramid Scheme?

There are several indications that suggest Cowboy Wealth could be a pyramid scheme.

Firstly, this system lacks any kind of services or products. Instead, it simply funnels you to the Melaleuca company. In essence, Chris and Cathy profit each time someone joins this MLM through their links.

So, is Cowboy Wealth truly a pyramid scheme? Let’s first clarify what a pyramid scheme entails.

A pyramid scheme is a company that compensates participants solely for recruiting others. Their primary focus is on recruitment rather than offering tangible products or services.

Based on this widely accepted definition from Wikipedia, it is safe to say that Cowboy Wealth fits the profile of a pyramid scheme.

How Much Does Cowboy Wealth Cost?

You can join the Cowboy Wealth program by paying a $19 one-time fee. After that, you get access to the program where you are enticed to join Melaleuca and start promoting their products.

Joining this MLM is free but you will have to invest at least $100 a month into their products to remain an active affiliate.

Can You Get a Refund From Cowboy Wealth?

When I checked Cowboy Wealth terms of use page, I couldn’t find any mention of a refund policy.

This doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t have one. However, if it’s not easily accessible on the site, it doesn’t seem likely that they actually have one.

Can You Make Money With Cowboy Wealth?

Making money through Cowboy Wealth is possible by joining Melaleuca as an affiliate, promoting their products, and recruiting others to earn commissions.

However, there is no proof that members of this program make life-changing amounts.

Therefore, it might be wise to avoid this scheme.

What I Like About Cowboy Wealth

Designed To Promote A Legitimate BizzOpp

While I personally have reservations about the way Cowboy Wealth promotes Melaleuca, it is worth noting that this company has been in the market for over 30 years.

Moreover, Melaleuca offers legitimate products that are specifically designed to enhance people’s lives. Therefore, there is no harm in supporting and promoting such a company.

What I Don’t Like About It

Lack of Transparency and Honesty

From the very beginning, the owners of Cowboy Wealth have been excessively secretive. The lack of names associated with the main page, along with the absence of an about us page, is concerning.

Furthermore, the video is vague and fails to provide any substantial information.

Additionally, various Cowboy Wealth reviews are similarly perplexed, and they concur that the scheme’s owners could have executed a better presentation.

In other words, to avoid any confusion, it is important to clearly state from the outset that you are promoting Melaleuca, a legitimate company.

Cowboy Wealth Is Just a Marketing Funnel

The main concept behind this scheme is to steer you towards the MLM system. There are no Cowboy Wealth products or services that can enhance your life in any manner.

I would like to see at least some form of step-by-step training where they teach people how to make money with Melaleuca or provide some sort of guide.

Right now, I don’t find any value in it.

Costs Keep Rising Down The Road

Joining Melaleuca via Cowboy Wealth is free.

However, to maintain access to the materials, a monthly fee is required. Additionally, promoting these products also comes with costs.

In other words, all MLMs demand a substantial budget, requiring significant investments of work, time, and most importantly, your hard-earned money.

MLMs Have an Extremely Low Success Rate

This is more related to Melaleuca than Cowboy Wealth, but the case is clear: most people who join MLMs end up funding those at the top and never achieve success.

Statistics show that only about 2% of participants end up profitable.

So, think about it: would you join a scheme where only 2% make money while the rest are just spending cash? Are you willing to take that risk?

Do I Recommend Cowboy Wealth?

I do not recommend Cowboy Wealth. There is nothing of value to recommend, to be honest. It is a marketing scheme that lacks any worthwhile products or services.

If you are interested in joining Melaleuca MLM, it is best to go directly through the official site rather than through these questionable funnels.

Cowboy Wealth Review – Conclusion

I strongly advise against Cowboy Wealth. It lacks valuable products, services, and anything worthwhile to promote.

On the other hand, if you’re interested in MLMs, you might want to check out Melaleuca for a potentially lucrative opportunity.

Personally, I won’t be joining MLMs as it’s not my preferred method of income generation. While MLMs can offer passive income potential, they are flawed in their concept.
