We live in the days when internet business is taking over the world. Everyone is looking for ways and means to make money online. It’s indeed the best way to earn a living.
All you need is your laptop and an internet connection to make money online.
But unfortunately, the net is full of get-rich-quick schemes and scams that promise a fast way to achieve the laptop lifestyle. Is the Six Figure Success Academy one of them?
Well, I’m glad you asked!
The Six Figure Success Academy is an online marketing course created by two legitimate marketers, Ty Cohen, and Mike Balmaceda.
With this course, they teach, specifically, how to promote other people’s (or your own) products via video marketing.
I’ve had a chance to review one of Mike’s courses before. It’s called the Commission League, and it’s very similar to this one.
In other words, a lot of hype followed by a questionable program.
With this program, they promise to teach you how to build an affiliate marketing business that generates $250-$500 per day!
I usually get my guard up as soon as I hear those words. I mean, those are big promises. And based on my experience, most of the programs today promise too much but deliver very little to none.
Is the Six Figure Success Academy one of them?
Well, that’s what I’m about to answer with this review. You may have noticed, but I’m not associated with this offer. In other words, this review is BS-free.
The Price of Six Figure Success Academy
Let’s start with one of the most important things. And that is the price of the Six Figure Success Academy. You can get it for $997 one time, or you can split it in two installments of $547.
Is There a Refund?
Here is what Ty and Mike have to say about it.
You must implement all strategies taught in the Six Figure Success Academy Course. You must watch all training videos, review all resources, and complete every corresponding action item in the Six Figure Success Academy Course after purchasing the course. The course’s content is subject to change, but you are required to complete all material of the course that was available to you at your time of purchase. You must show documented proof that you have completed the course and were awarded the course completion certification. The course is concise with short videos, so we require you to complete the course before claiming refund. In other words, yes, there is an option to get your money back.
However, you have to prove that the course didn’t work for you before you can become eligible for a refund.

The good thing is, the method inside Six Figure Success Academy is legit and could work so it compensates for the short material.
But still, $1K is too much money for a training course, in my opinion…

How Does Six Figure Success Academy Work?
In a nutshell, this program teaches how to start an affiliate marketing business and promote other people’s products. The method they use is called video marketing.
Inside of the Six Figure Success Academy, Ty & Mike are teaching how to do so by creating video webinars.
There are a few basic steps.
- Find someone who has an online course, reach out, and offer your video service
- Help them sell more copies, using the Six Figure Success Academy techniques.
- Get some eyeballs in front of your offer by reaching out to Influencers
- Earn commissions and repeat
Basically, the method comes down to asking other people to partner up with you. They already have a course, which is perfect because you don’t need to create anything.
They call those people “Bob.”
So if your “Bob” agrees to cooperate with you, all you need to do is follow the training within the Six Figure Success Academy and create video marketing campaigns.
Now, the most critical part of the system is getting traffic.
These guys recommend reaching out to the influencer and asking them to share their email list with you. Of course, you need to offer something in return.
Meaning, you need to pay them.
So if those influencers agree to rent you their email list, your task is to send your marketing material via email. If you are successful, you’ll generate commissions.
And that’s how the Six Figure Success Academy works. In my humble opinion, it’s not the best method for earning money online. But that’s just my opinion.
The system is legitimate, and if you really put it to action, it could work.
What I Like About the Six Figure Success Academy
1.) The Method is Legitimate
The one thing that I consider to be a pro is the method itself. I’m talking about affiliate marketing. The system inside is another pair of shoes, which I’ll talk about more soon.
The bottom line is, affiliate marketing is proven to work, and the Six Figure Success Academy teaches one of the ways to start with it.
2.) Mike and Ty Are Proven Online Entrepreneurs
Another thing that I like about the Six Figure Success Academy is the fact that the guys behind it know how to make money online with affiliate marketing.
They are not some gurus who just preach about it. They can actually walk the walk as well, which is great.
However, I’m not 100% sure about this system as I was in some others from before.
What’s Wrong With Six Figure Success Academy?
1.) Overhyped Earning Claims
Before you can join the course, you need to watch a 3-hour long webinar with Ty and Mike where they repeatedly tell you how you can make $250-$500 per day using this method.
As I said earlier in this review, that’s an overhyped statement and a bold promise.
Don’t get me wrong. You really can make this money with affiliate marketing. Heck! You can make even more than that.
But it would be unwise to expect those earnings as soon as you start.
2.) $1k is Too Much For A Course Like This One!
The Six Figure Success Academy is another overpriced training course. I reviewed a lot of them, and I can’t see that much value in this one.
In my opinion, it’s too much money for a six-week training course in video marketing.
On top of that, you need to spend more cash once you start implementing those strategies.
First of all, you need tools, and you have to outsource them since they’re not included. Then, there are some other costs, such as paying those influencers and such.
The point is, it’s a costly way to learn how to create webinars.
3.) No Free Trial or Refund Available
I was pretty disappointed when I read the Six Figure Success Academy refund policy. On the one hand, they push you to complete the course, which is a good thing.
But on the other hand, like every other person out there, I like to have an unconditional option to bail out if I don’t like it.
Also, it would be better if they offer at least a day of the free trial before you shell out $997.
4.) They Don’t Teach PPC, SEO, and other REAL Traffic Methods
Don’t get me wrong. They do teach traffic. But the traffic generation method within the Six Figure Success Academy is not what I would call a long-term solution for getting customers.
It comes down to using other people’s traffic to market your products, which is not the most reliable way to generate sales.
You can’t depend on other people all the time.
Is the Six Figure Success Academy a Scam?
No, the Six Figure Academy is not a scam.
It’s actually a legitimate program that teaches how to sell other people’s products via affiliate marketing. Not the best, but it’s legit.
Though it’s an expensive course, you get enough material to implement these methods and try to make them work for you.
On top of that, owners offer their support along the way, which is something I appreciate a lot!
The only thing that I really don’t like about the Six Figure Success Academy is the fact that the sales material is overhyped.
Mike and Ty want you to believe that you can make tons of money almost instantly.
What is the reason?
Well, they really want you to buy the course so that they can earn an easy income off you.
But in my opinion, it’s not cool to give you false hopes in order to make sales.
In any case, Six Figure Success Academy is a legitimate course that focuses on methods that could work if you give it an honest try.
Alternative: On the other hand, if you’re looking for the best business model to earn passive income online as a beginner, there are other, more suitable, and cost-effective alternatives.

However, don’t take this as a guarantee because it’s not. It’s just my unbiased opinion.
But if I have to be biased, I think it’s overpriced and not worth it. $997 is a lot of money!
You can find 10x better education on affiliate marketing for far less money.
