The bad thing is that this course is not the most beginner-friendlies eCommerce course on the market. The exclusive price tag is one of the main reasons for saying so.
Although you get significant value in return for your money, eCom Success Academy is still out of reach for 90% of beginners.
On top of it, there are no guarantees or free trials, which is really disappointing.
So if you join eCom Success Academy and have doubts about it, Adrian is not going to return your money. Talking about the risky investment, right?
Another thing that I don’t like about it is the fact that there are no lessons on how to get free traffic. Only paid traffic lessons are included.
Facebook ads are the only traffic method that you can learn with this course. In my opinion, it could work, but FB ads are one of the worst places to purchase traffic these days.
Moreover, this means that you will have to be ready to invest more money down the road, which should be disclosed, in my opinion.
While dissecting the content for this eCom Success Academy review, I noticed that the course is not updated regularly.
One specific segment that needs updating is Facebook advertising.
Facebook changes the rules are regulations of advertising on the platform frequently. These updates don’t reflect in Adrian’s course, and they should be!

Basically, Adrian is teaching how to sell physical products without having to buy or stock these products yourself. Instead, you’re just drop shipping these products to your customers.

In this module of eCom Success Academy, Adrian is going to show you what are the best places to find products for your store.

The good news is, there are no upsells.
If you want, you can split it into three monthly payments of $997. It’s more expensive but it’s something.
What Are the Extra Costs?
It’s important to understand that your success with eCom Success Academy depends on your budget.
You’ll have to invest more money into tools like Shopify, outsourcing, and a few other things.
But the most critical investment is in FB advertising.
All these features will cost you a few more hundred if not even a thousand or two right off the bat.
So if you ever decide to join Adrian, make sure you come well prepared financially.

I’m still very disappointed with the price and the lack of guarantees. However, that doesn’t deprive the eCom Success Academy course of any value.
In my opinion, ESA is worth buying.
The training contains everything one needs to start a successful Shopify store.
You can learn how to set up everything, find the hottest products, and, most importantly, you’ll learn how to get targeted traffic to your business.
ESA training course has been one of the first on the market. It appeared for the first time in 2017, and it’s still going strong in 2021.

It’s hard to be critical when you review a legit program.

Training Includes Advanced eCom and Email Strategies
Another good thing about eComm Success Academy is the fact that it is not only going to teach you basics like most eCommerce courses out there.
Adrian Morrison covers basics as well as advanced strategies. This is great because once you master the basics, you don’t have to buy more courses to learn how to scale and optimize your Shopify store.
One of the advanced methods for scaling is email marketing, which is also included with eCom Success Academy.

Together with a great mentor and the most comprehensive eCom training, those of you who decide to go for it is going to get a lot of bonuses and tools as well.

eCom Success Academy Review – CONS
You are probably aware of a few reviews out there that are trash-talking eCom Success Academy. Those guys are doing this because they are affiliated with the competition.
In my opinion, this is a great course. However, it has a few flaws though.
It Takes a Lot Of Time And Practice to Get Results
eCommerce as a business model is not easy. In other words, it takes time to learn all the basics. Then, it takes lots of practice and works to build your store from scratch.
The good news is the eComm Success Academy course is a great place to learn. However, this course is not going to help you to get fast results online.
eComm Success Academy is Pricey
In my opinion, ESA is too expensive. Not everyone can afford to pay $2.5K for education.
Honestly, this is one of the most expensive training courses that I’ve had a chance to review. I feel like it would do much better if it were less expensive.
The good news, however, is that you can split it into monthly instalments.
The Program Comes With Extra Costs
To build your Shopify store with eCom Success Academy, you need to invest more money. For example, you will have to buy tools, website hosting, etc.
These will cost you a few $ 100s. The good news is that Adrian includes some of the apps inside the dashboard.
On top of extra costs, you will have to spend more money on traffic too!
eCom Success Academy Relies On Paid Ads For Traffic
I didn’t like the fact that eCom Success Academy teaches only about paid ads for traffic generation.
As an active online marketer, I believe that diversification is the key to long-term success online.
That’s because you never know when Facebook is going to change the rules again and kick you out of the game.
In that case, it’s good to know a thing or two about SEO, blogging, and other traffic methods.

Another bummer is the complete lack of guarantees. I feel it would be great to have at least a few days of a free trial.

Very good, in-depth review. Personally I think the $2.5k is a little spendy and I thank you for stating the same. Last year I was locked out of Facebook with no explanation. I avoid them whenever possible. Since Morrison seems to concentrate on Facebook this would hold me back from using his program. You definitely did your research before writing your review.

Wow, based on the way you explain eCom Success Academy, it appears to be legitimate, and the fact that Shopify already recognizes Adrian Morrison as an expert is a positive sign.
But the only thing that I find difficult is that I am a newbie, and the price is really exorbitant, despite the fact that it is legitimate.
Adrian, on the other hand, is extremely successful, producing up to $4 million from just one Shopify store? That’s incredible.
But, despite the fact that Adrian’s course appears to be excellent, I am hesitant to enroll because I am not financially well equipped. Maybe I’ll join him later when I’m prepared. I’ve also noticed that his course necessitates a lot of endurance.

eCommerce Academy is certainly one of the heavy hitters when it comes to drop shipping. They do lay out the program in an orderly manner but the price is a bit much for someone who is new to the online marketing platform.
Most people, want something that they can basically plugnplay and be on the road to success. How often does a mentor actually get with the person who purchased the program? What time frame is given for starting to see a return on investment?
While ESA may be legitimate, would it not be better for a beginner to start out with an established training university such as Wealthy Affiliate? This way they begin to learn everything involved and what to look for when looking at drop shipping?

That’s why I said that I don’t recommend eCom Success Academy to newbies but only to advanced marketers just as you have portrayed in your comment. I have no way of knowing how long it takes to see a return on investment. Live coaching sessions are once a week.
I agree with you. This course is legit and recommended to people on the advanced level, in my opinion. Wealthy Affiliate is a much better option for newbies who are looking to get started with online marketing without breaking a bank.

I have come across a few of your reviews in my research. This is another good one. I too am in the online marketing adventure and am hoping to jump into dropshipping soon. I have been looking at Shopify and eCommerce but it is all greek to me. I think a course like this might be able to help me out!
I am somewhat familiar with the online lingo but have no clue where to start with drop shipping. Is this a good enough platform to lay things out for me to jump in with little experience? I have a small email list started and think I could be able to advertise with email marketing but not sure if I have a large enough audience.
What size following would you recommend before starting something like this?

If you’re not sure about diving into it yet, my advice is to watch some free YouTube videos and maybe try to build something yourself first. You don’t need any following before starting something like this. Basically, all legitimate courses like this teach how to attract people to your site via online ads.

This certainly sounds like a great course that is comprehensive with everything to know about how to set up a successful e-commerce business, especially with the use of drop-shipping as the central focus. The fact that this course is taught by one of the most renowned experts in drop-shipping and is officially supported by Shopify makes it all the more legitimate. It is no wonder that this is quite expensive. From reading this article the problem I see with this course is that it is taught with the assumption that you have a lot of money laying around to spend for setting up your e-commerce business.

Thanks very much for this review of eCom Success Academy that you have written up here. There certainly is opportunity in Dropshipping with eCommerce and there’s certainly money to be made there if you know what you’re doing and get it right. It’s a bit expensive though. Not something I’d go for.

Terrific review Ivan. I had seen the ads for eCom and wondered if it was just another scam. But it seems to be legit and you give great in-depth information about how it works. At first, I thought the price was prohibitive but then I compared it to a college course and $2500 is really not that much (most courses are $6000 just for information). I only hope that readers take on board that you will have to pay for Shopify and paid ads on Facebook as well. In some ways, this is an old business structure, similar to a bricks-and-mortar business without the building.

Hi there, with so many people talking about starting a drop shipping business, I was wondering how easy it is to make a success of it. So it is interesting to see that 97% fall by the wayside quite soon. Although the eCom Success Academy seems to be a very legitimate course, it does come with a pretty hefty price tag, and with no guarantees or money back options, it is not an avenue I will go down at the moment.

Adrian Morrison seems to be the real deal. Before starting to teach about how to make money online he launched and sustains profitable business. That’s always important when joining a platform, see how their creators are doing. However the price tag puts me off. I wish he had a less expensive option.

Hi Ivan, I loved this review, I have failed at e-commerce in the past mainly from a lack of the proper training. I do agree with you that 2,495 is a steep price to pay. But, if you look at the cost of running any legitimate business this is just a drop in the bucket. Because of my past failures, I will not be signing on to this type of business. I’ve seen a lot of good courses, but $2.5K is just a lot of money for a training course. For example, eCom Elites goes for $250 or something like that. In any case, I’m glad my review was helpful!

Hi Ivan! Wow, thank you for such a deep insight into the dropshipping. I was not entirely sure what to expect from that field of the online world( together with the E-commerce) and now I have more clue. The thing is, that I was very close to open my own Shopify store, yet before I started my journey throughout the affiliate marketing. When I read your review I had the feeling that the program is providing a lot of value, but on the other hand, it is way too expensive and as you mentioned, it is lacking any money-back guarantee. All-in-one I have to agree with you that WA is a much safer and better way to hit the affiliate marketing world. All the best in the future IVAN!

On the other hand, Wealthy Affiliate is much much much cheaper option and equally good if not an even better way to go for beginners. The only difference is in the business model. ESA teaches about starting an eCom store with Shopify. WA focuses on teaching affiliate marketing via WordPress operated website.

It sounds really great this training courses where you can learn the secrets of the one of the top most successful drop shippers in the world. What ever the case may be I do not care about what these people are selling. I have seen too much scam to be interested in such ventures. I prefer affiliate marketing. Although I am new to affiliate marketing, I have recently joined wealthy affiliate and I have recently started a new free website and I am looking for a way to drive huge organic traffic to my website. I do not need any such distractions to divert my upward movement. I have lost a lot of money to scams on the internet, I am interested in making my website work and earn money for me.
