So the question is, is Ecom Profit Masterclass worth buying? Is there a better alternative here that doesn’t cost that much? Well, let’s find it out in this review.

Ecom Profit Masterclass is a course created by Richard Telfeja and Laz Chavez.
The course will teach you how to create an eCommerce store and teach you everything you need to know about the business.
The creator of this course claims that you can make a massive profit by using their system.
It says that the course is to be taken over six weeks, all while you set up your store alongside.
In those six weeks, they will teach you the ins and outs of creating a Shopify store, like how to set up your apps, how to market them, and how to manage your ads.
As I said, the Ecom Profit Masterclass claims that if you use their system, you will make a big profit in your Shopify eCommerce business.”
Who Are Laz Chavez & Richard Telfeja?
Laz Chavez and Richard Telfej are the two friends who created Ecom Profit Masterclass and run digital eCommerce businesses together.
Both of them started their eCommerce business in college, claiming that they have built highly successful businesses.
They also claim that they have made over 2 million dollars in sales.
They also have a Youtube channel called WealthyLeads, where they will teach you about the eCommerce business.
Their channel has 3.32K subscribers, and their videos have over less than 500 views which means that their website is not that popular.
How Does Ecom Profit Masterclass Work?
There are six different modules and each of them acts as one week of instruction.
Module (Week 1): Shopify Setup
Here, they will teach you how to set up your Shopify store from scratch and teach you everything you need to know.
They will show you how to create your website, buy a domain, handle all the legal pages, connect it to your store, connect your apps, and how to create your logo.
They will also teach you how to install themes, and apps and track your website’s analytics.
Everything you see here in this first module of Ecom Profit Masterclass is just a guide on how to create your Shopify store, so to me, this module doesn’t give any value.
You see, even if you are not familiar with Shopify, you can still create your store because Shopify is a very user-friendly platform.
So, spending an entire module is pointless if you ask me.
Here is the list that you will learn in this module of the Ecom Profit Masterclass:
- Setting up your online store and designed for a TOTAL beginner
- How to set up the back end of your online store step by step without any coding involved whatsoever
- Getting a domain and setting up email forwarding
- How to set up your legal pages without any lawyers involved
- Installing our high converting, proven to sell theme
- Creating a logo and customizing your theme without any designer experience
Module (Week 2): Zero Risk Products
In this module or week 2, you will learn all about researching your products.
Telfeja will teach you the basic concept of dropshipping, and then he will teach you the rest you need to know, like how to find suppliers, evaluate the products, and source the products for your store.
The product research on this module doesn’t give any value to it because the majority of this course is just a guide.
Telfeja will also teach you how to set up a product, add product tags on descriptions, and use apps.
Here is the list that you will learn in this module of the Ecom Profit Masterclass:
- Which research tools to use to find winning products
- Find products on different websites so you don’t have to buy inventory
- How to find suppliers who offer cheap products for a cheap price
- How to import these products into your store
- Editing product titles, description templates, and make your store look professional
Module (Week 3): Apps & Order Fulfillment
This module of Ecom Profit Masterclass is just another guide where they will teach you how to use ordering apps.
They include sales trackers, email opt-ins, currency converters, and abandoned cart recovery.
Telfeja will show you which apps are useful.
There isn’t much information here because they only show you how to add and install on Shopify, which is very simple.
Here is the list that you will learn in this module:
- The exact apps to ensure your online store is a success
- Setting up an app that will increase your sales
- How to place orders with your supplier
- How to send tracking information to your customers
Module (Week 4): Google Setup
This module of Ecom Profit Masterclass, Telfeja, will teach you how to navigate through Google ads.
He will also teach you how to create your account, keywords, place your bids and create a campaign.
He also teaches you some jargon, like CPC or PPC, and then he will walk you through some steps towards creating your first campaign.
Compared to the other modules (weeks), this one provides a little value because the Google Ads platform can be a bit intimidating.
However, spending an entire week in this module is quite pointless because you can find much of this information on the web.
Here is the list that you will learn in this module:
- Step by step Google Adwords and Merchant Center account setup
- Getting familiar with the Adwords platform
- How to set up conversion tracking
Module Week 5: Google Ads Setup And Optimization
This week, you are continuing off of week 4 where they will teach you how to optimize your ad and provide maximum value.
He will teach you some basic things like retargeting your ads and briefly going over split testing.
There isn’t much here as there aren’t too many advanced strategies here, and all you get here is a basic understanding of a platform and a guided walkthrough.
If only Telfeja could have gone for more advanced strategies that would help more.
Here is the list that you will learn in this module of the Ecom Profit Masterclass:
- How to create a Google Ad
- How to run $20 ads and still make money
- Set up Google Shopping to test products automatically
- Blueprint to scale your store
Module (Week 6): Search And International Expansion
This last module of the Ecom Profit Masterclass will teach you how to expand your store across different countries.
While it acts as a separate week, it’s still part of the Google walkthrough itself.
This week teaches you to use a website called DataFeedWatch, which lists your Google account on international versions of Google.
Telfeja also teaches you how to navigate the website and list your product.
However, he does not teach you any marketing strategies or tips, and the only thing that he teaches you is how to list them.
I’m quite disappointed with this module because it could have taught you a lot about emerging into different economies and markets, but all it does is teach you how to use a website.
Here is the list that you will learn in this module:
- Set up a profitable search campaign
- Leverage Google Shopping data with search campaigns
- How to scale your business internationally with Google Shopping
How Much Does Ecom Profit Masterclass Cost?
Ecom Profit Masterclass is very expensive as it almost cost around $2k.
With this course, you’ll also get a few bonuses, such as pre-made Shopify themes, access to their private Facebook group, and personal consulting from Telfeja himself.
Does the course offer a money-back guarantee? Yes, it does.
However, there are some steps that you need to follow for you to get a full refund, and those steps are:
- You need to complete the course
- Enrol in their Facebook group and contribute one of the following each week
- Comment
- Question
- Update
- Success story
- Create a store
- Spend $2,000 on Google Ads
- Within 30 days of purchase
These are the steps that you need for you to get a refund.
Who Is Ecom Profit Masterclass Best For?
Ecom Profit Masterclass is for anyone who doesn’t have any experience with Shopify or Google.
However, I don’t think anyone can afford it at that price because it is too expensive.
Also, the course doesn’t give any advanced strategies, and it only guides you on how to create your store.

Does Ecom Profit Masterclass Deliver?
Ecom Profit Masterclass teaches you how to make your eCommerce business grow and make it successful.
However, what they told you is far from the truth because, as you can see, Telfeja teaches you how to set up a store, and sell and optimise your store.
The sales page says that the Ecom Profit Masterclass teaches you every step you need to create and grow a massively profitable Shopify eCommerce business.
But all he does is teach you how to set up your store to accept a first customer and not teach you how to acquire your first customer.
You will surely fail if you follow these steps. Even if they teach you everything you needed to know about selling Ecommerce products, they still won’t deliver their promise.
Is Ecom Profit Masterclass A Scam?
Ecom Profit Masterclass is not a scam. The course provides a good training program to learn how to create an eCommerce business from scratch.
However, as I said earlier, the course doesn’t teach you any advanced strategies, and it only teaches you a basic understanding of only two platforms.
Also, the course doesn’t teach you about Facebook ads, one of the most influential platforms for eCommerce.
Not just that, the price of this course is way too expensive for a course that only teaches you how to set up your store.
Spending almost $2,000 to create a store, you could buy an already successful existing Shopify store yourself with everything already made and has already made sales.
Again, half of the course only teaches you how to set up your Shopify store, and the other half on setting up a Google ad campaign.
There are a lot of things that the Ecom Profit Masterclass course should have but did not include.
That is why I don’t recommend this course. It is just a waste of money.
Alternative: On the other hand, if you’re looking for the best business model to earn passive income online as a beginner, there are other, more suitable, and cost-effective alternatives.

Ecom Profit Masterclass is a good course that provides good training and teaches you how to set up your store.
However, just like any other courses, this course can be found on the web or on Youtube, where you can find dozens of them that some of them will give to you for free and some of them will provide you with less price on the course.
But, you do have to be careful about what you’re searching for because some of them might offer you too much with less information, or worst, they might scam you, so always do your research first before you buy those courses.
Now let’s go back to Ecom Profit Masterclass.
As I said, Ecom Profit Masterclass is a good course, but it doesn’t teach you any advanced strategies or tips, which is quite disappointing.
Also, the course is too expensive and it is not worth buying, which is why I don’t recommend it.
All in all, the course is good, but it could be much better if only they added more advanced teachings.
