Simple Money System Review – Is It a Scam or Legit?

Welcome to my Simple Money System review.

You have probably heard about a powerful yet simple system for making money online. Allegedly, all it takes is 30-60 minutes per day to create an autopilot income with this system.

If so, you’ve come to the best place to find out everything you need to know.

One of the problems with Simple Money System promotion is that it does not reveal what it is that you have to do to create this autopilot income. Does this make it a scam? Let’s find out!

Simple Money System Review

Simple Money System Review – What Is It?

Simple Money System is an online marketing training program that promises to show you how to make $1000 per day selling affiliate products. In other words, the program is about affiliate marketing.

In essence, a lot of things that have been said about this program is correct. You can put your business on autopilot at one point. And it’s more than possible to earn $1000 in one day with affiliate marketing.

However, a lot of those claims are a little bit overhyped compared to the reality of affiliate marketing business. Those claims could lead us to think that this might be a scam after all.

According to the official spokesperson, Joel Paterson, Simple Money system has helped over 1000 people to make money online by promoting other people’s products. Let’s see how.

How Does Simple Money System Work?

Simple Money System is designed to show you how to promote Pure Leverage, an internet marketing system that comes with all the tools that you need to build a professional and successful online home-based business.

So in a nutshell, Simple Money System is not even a real program. It works as a funnel to Pure Leverage, which is a legitimate company that provides tools and education on affiliate marketing.

Once you sign up, you’ll get access to a free webinar. Then, you’ll have to join Pure Leverage to get your affiliate links which you use to direct people to the website and earn commissions each time someone becomes a member.

They will show you how to build marketing campaigns to promote Pure Leverage to make money online. Pure Leverage costs $24.95 per month, and you earn a recurring 100% commission on every sale you make.

But there’s a trick to those 100% commissions. The requirement is to become a member ($24.95 monthly) and pay an additional $19.95 each month to stay qualified for those 100% commissions. This is a bizarre compensation plan, but it’s true.

Furthermore, you will get access to training and tools that you’ll have to use to build your business. The training is in video format, and it talks about email marketing, Facebook marketing, driving traffic to Pure Leverage, blogging, list building, and more.

So after learning how Simple Money System works, it’s hard to say that it is a scam. To me, this looks like a legitimate business model. But more about this soon.

What I Like About This System

Simple Money System is based on a business model that is widely accepted and is attracting more and more people into becoming affiliate marketers. So the fact that it’s based on legitimate methods is undoubtedly something that I like to see.

Also, I was glad to stumble across the sales page that is not too overhyped. Joel Paterson (if that is his real name) keeps it tasteful and is not crossing too many lines to show you how excellent this opportunity is. Yes, he does make some bold claims, but they are based on real-life facts about affiliate marketing.

Moreover, the fact that you get the tools and complete education for an affordable price is a positive thing as well.

What I Didn’t Like About This

There are a few problems with this program, and in this section of my Simple Money System review, I want to direct your attention to what’s wrong with this system.

You see, they say you can start making money working only 30-60 minutes per day. While working only an hour per day is possible, it’s going to take you, and every other person out there, months and even years of hard work to get to that level.

Another thing that you need to understand is that the Simple Money System is not free to join. They say it is, but it’s not. You’ll have to pay $25 per month for membership and $20 to become an affiliate.

Is Simple Money System a Scam or Legit?

There are no signs of a classic scam here where they take your money and give nothing in return. So the answer is no, Simple Money System is not a scam.

All members are going to get legitimate education and tools to try and build a successful and legitimate affiliate marketing business.

Final Words and Better Alternative

So there you have it. Now you know that Simple Money System is a program that shows you how to leverage Pure Leverage training and tools to create a business where you promote the same company to others.

I might say that this is an MLM or a multi-level-marketing scheme and I wouldn’t be wrong if I do so.

You see, I don’t like these schemes too much because they are not focused on teaching you how to create a REAL ONLINE BUSINESS. Instead, all they do is showing you how to promote the same scheme to others.

This is not the way to having a successful online business.

To achieve real success in online business, you have to learn how affiliate marketing really works. In other words, you have to build your own business where you promote any products of your choice.

This is the only real way to have a successful online business.

  1. I’m still new to learning how affiliate marketing works so If I saw this advertised, I might have been sucked in thinking it was free. It’s nice to know about the additional “hidden” fees. It sounds like it has a lot of different advantages within the program. Thanks for this review.

    • Hi Andrea, thanks for reaching out. Simple Money System is not free to join. Yes, you do get a free webinar, but that’s all. You have to Join Pure Leverage to get tools and training. I hope this review was helpful.

  2. Hi Ivan,
Great post and thanks for explaining the simple money system in a simplified way that anyone can understand. If I hadn’t come across this review, I would have fall for it because of that 100% commission not knowing that they still have to collect $20 to become an affiliate member which technically, you saying all I will be making is roughly $5.
    Thanks for the review.

    • Hi Benson, thanks for your comment. Well, you math is not correct. You have to pay a $24.95 for membership each month and $20 monthly fee to become an affiliate. So if you get 10 new customers for one month, you earn $249,5 minus the membership and affiliate fee. The scheme has got potential, but I’m not recommending the Simple Money System because, in my opinion, this is not the best way to build a long-term business online.

  3. Hi Ivan,

Thanks for yet another honest and informative review.

I am somewhat taken aback by the claims that Simple Money System makes about it being “free to join” and then you quite rightly pointing out the specific fees that are involved.

Okay, I know from previously reading your reviews, you are someone I can trust and someone who “says it like he sees it”, but this claim (among others they make – 30-60 minutes a day) are a little worrying.

I accept that if there is a full-proof system to follow then you can indeed be successful, but I’m so glad that you’ve mentioned that working in online marketing for just an hour a day will take a long, long time to reap any rewards. Yes, it is possible to make money, but I guess the more effort you put in, the better (and potentially faster) the results.

Plus I could not agree with you any more than the conclusion you’ve drawn. My first thoughts when reading this review was that it seemed very much like an MLM to me. Don’t get me wrong, MLMs can work out very well for some, but it’s not a method of marketing that I would particularly follow. But, that’s just personal opinion.

Based on your review, this isn’t one for me.

However, as always, thanks for keeping it honest and real. You’re definitely someone I’ll continue to follow to get the “real lowdown” on various products.

    • Hi Partha, thanks for your comment. Working only 30-60 minute per day is possible, but only after years and years of hustling to set up your business and once hire other people to do the work for you. There’s no other way to reach this level. I have to say that you’re right, the more you put in, the better and faster results. Thanks again for leaving your thoughts on my review. Much appreciate and see you again.

  4. Hmm. Thank you for this. I’m seeing more of these types of things online, and it is taking more and more due diligence to find whether they actually accomplish what they sell. I appreciate your candid but fair response in determining if this is a scam. I know a few women who have been…moderately successful in MLM type marketing, but what happens if this business (Pure Leverage) decides to sell, go under, or stop? From what I am understanding – being an affiliate marketer means you’re the business owner, you write the content, and you sell what you’re passionate about, right? Whereas with this, you’re just selling ..the opportunity? I’m not sure that’s a bad thing at all, but it does feel a little dependent. Thank you for taking the time, and I appreciate the info.

    • Hi Hilary, you’re welcome and yes, you’re right. Being an affiliate marketer is actually the same as having your own business. You take care of all aspects of your business and if you manage to grow large enough, you can hire people to take the load off your shoulders. Just like in the real world business.

If Pure Leverage ever decides to stop or go down, down goes your income as well, which is also, one of the top reasons why I do not recommend MLM’s in the long run. Affiliate marketing is different and better line of work. It’s just an opportunity to earn some income, not to create your own business. Thanks for sharing your comment.
