I was contacted by a WP Profit Builder customer who had an issue related to the plugin not being compatible with the latest PHP version.

Hello Ivan, I too have been working with Profit Builder since the very beginning. In the last few days, my provider said that I can no longer use PB because it is no longer compatible with the new PHP version! I then wanted to write to Sean Donahoe and ask what to do, since I have 3 pages online! None of Sean’s pages are accessible and I fear he may have died, leaving his clients hanging without a successor! Do you know what’s wrong with him? You would certainly help thousands of users with one piece of information!

So I went to work and found out that Sean is no longer actively updating Profit Builder and it seems that the customer support is non-existent.

I contacted both Sean and WP Profit Builder support via Facebook and got no response:

By the way, his last post on his private Facebook profile was in 2020 and the WP Profit Builder page was last time updated in August 2020 as well.

Also, I found this comment on Warrior Forum:

It looks like Sean has changed the direction and turned into the direction of the crypto world.

So the bottom line is that WP Profit Builder is still active, but Sean Donahoe and the support team are not, so it might be the best idea to avoid this page builder.

All in all, it is a legit and recommended WordPress plugin.

So even if you’re not confident in creating a page from scratch, you can always pick one of the pre-designed templates from the WP Profit Builder library.

Secondly, I like the fact that the creators of the plugin took care to get licenses from all major autoresponders and marketing platforms.

This is very important if you’re an affiliate or email marketer who is going to use this app to collect emails from your visitors.

Also, it seems like there are no exceptions when it comes to WordPress themes either.

An affordable and fixed one-time price

Lastly, the price is crazy good as well. When I compare the price of this app with its competitors, the difference is enormous, and yet the quality is almost the same.

I find a lot of bad apps that try to imitate ClickFunnels, but WP PB is not one of them.

They did a good job, a very good job.

What I Don’t Like About WP Profit Builder

I should be fair and share a few things that I did not like about this app. But in all fairness, this section is very slim as I find this app to be an excellent product.

• Only one year of support and updates
• Could be overwhelming for newbies

Only one year of support and updates

First of all, I don’t like that you get only one year of support and updates. I don’t understand why is this so. This is the first time I have seen this.

All Premium WP plugins and internet tools come with lifetime support and updates and s should WP Profit Builder, in my opinion.

And secondly, the app might be overwhelming for newbies. This is actually pretty normal, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

However, the owners could make it a bit more beginner-friendly.

But all in all, it is a good app so let’s close this WP Profit Builder review with some final words and recommendations.

WP Profit Builder Reviews From Users

Before I conclude my review, below are a few WP Profit Builder user reviews that should give you some perspective on this product.

The user Gaz says that this is the best landing page builder he’s ever used.

He also says that the first version was a bit poorly executed. But the latest (WP Profit Builder 2.0) performs much better.

This is a good sign. It seems like the creator is taking care that he delivers the best UX.

A user called J.G. has shared almost the same review as GAZ.

However, in her case, she is not happy with the plugin and will not continue to use it.

Her reasons are a lack of customer support and faulty WP updates.

Lastly, a user called Chanan says that it is a great tool, easy to use, requires no skills, etc.

As you can see, some people have found a few flaws in this plugin. However, overall ratings are pretty positive.

While creating my own review, I didn’t find any comment where users claim that they have been wronged by the creator of WP Profit Builder or that it is a scam.
